I rarely get Spam messages but considering the technology available nowadays, we should not be getting these Indeed and DMV type Scam messages daily. The biggest issue is these Scammers create and iCloud account with a random email and send to our numbers through iMessage. They then know it’s a valid number or email. There needs to be a setting or option to block new senders from coming through iMessage. Too many people get Scammed and I can’t understand why Apple or the carriers will not implement technology to prevent these messages. If a message comes through with the word Indeed and a WhatsApp numbers, it should be blocked.

I’ve sent in feature requests and even emailed Tim Cook. What else can we do? Now I’ve just turned iMessage off to prevent texts but that shouldn’t be the only option..(Message Filters still allow the message to come through).

If you agree, please help and submit feedback to Apple. Thanks!
