I wonder how these 4K videos can be displayed on a 4K TV? Would I have to buy a GoPro and just save the 4K movies on it and then use it to display the movies?

I will own the new Apple TV when it comes out. But it will scale down 4K video on my 4K TV to 1080p. I saw that the new Amazon Fire TV will do 4K and has a SD card. The other Fire TV features are not needed since my TV already does Amazon content and Apple TV does the remaining things I need. The Amazon Fire TV won't access my iTunes content otherwise I would just get the Amazon product by itself.

It sucks that the iPad Air 2 gets no love. What if I want to shoot a 4k video with my iPhone 6S and edit it on my Air 2?
