Strangely enough we had macs until we got to high school, in grade school we had the old apple's that had the green and black screen, then in junior high we had the candy imacs.

Personal computers hadn't been invented when I was in grade school. That's a small exaggeration, but honestly, I never saw one. The only one I saw was the TRS-80 in my brother's room in the basement.

Grade school in the Netherlands we never used computers. Then when I moved to the U.S. one elementary school had PCs but were also never used. Then another U.S. elementary school used all Macs. After Elementary I used PCs all the time. Now for University I bough a Mac.

There, hope that is understandable :)

i graduated in 2000...and we had Macs from K-12. many a rained-out recess was spent playing Oregon Trail. many a study hall was spent playing Sim City 2000. :D

i'm pretty sure they've moved to PC's now for whatever reason.

I graduated high school in 2005. Had Macs all the way up until 5th grade, then it was all Windows. Now, back in college, I get my choice ;).

Apple IIe in grade school; actually from 2nd grade on. My 2nd grade class was the first to use a computer at my school. come 9th grade, Apple IIgs and Macs.

BL.

Oregon trail ftw! We played a game called "driver" too it was insanely awesome.

Where do Commodore 64s fit in?

Probably sometime before I was born :p

haha I love your signature

When I graduated HS we had all of our classes in one log cabin and we wrote on chalk tablets... What were you thinking? This question wreaks of AGEISM!!! :D

Standard Issue: Slide ruler, lined-paper, three-ring notebook, pencils in box of 12, pencil metal compass for drawing circles, first backpack I ever had was in the Marines, and we called it "deuce gear" which held everything I owned and weighed about 55lbs. and we wore it all the time when we would go on those "force marches" at about 50 miles a day. First computer I used was a Burroughs/IBM computer terminal that hooked-up to a rather large computer (about 7' in height) that ran the length of my office wall which was about 20' long.

Elementary we had Macs, I think iMacs. Middle school, windows base pc's. High School, windows base pcs. But I know the drama department, the teacher also teached TV Production. Had Mac Pros, Power Macs, Mac Book Pros, amongst other various macs. Also had a private XServers, separate from the main schools server. Along with a few quad core PC's with 8 Gigs of ram for the windows only apps.

The earlier years at my primary school had BBC Micro Bs and Acorns... used to like playing the games on there haha :p

The High School I went to had RM PCs with Windows 98, until two years ago. Then they moved up to Windows XP RM computers!

Acorns at primary and junior school. Windows for a year at secondary school, then 4 years of iMacs and iBooks. College was nothing but eMacs and iMacs (G4), and uni had all machines.

Neither. I graduated high school in 1984.

Same here, although we did have an Apple ][+ lab (probably 8 total computers) my junior year of high school and an Apple //e lab (with another 10 or so computers) in an adjoining room my senior year.
