What the manager at my Apple Store said when I went in and talked to him. And also common sense - you really think 500 people wanting iPads AREN'T gonna be put in a line, and just told to mob the store and find a representative? It was pretty obvious that you were told information that they give for all non-launch store pickups.

Right, I'm going to believe you over what several independent Apple store representatives have told me, including my local Apple store. Yes, I agree with your logic, however we have not been told otherwise (at least the numerous people I have been in contact with, as well as my experience regarding past Apple store launch day events). What credibility do you have? You're like Chupa Chupa.

Your experience at past Apple events? Are you saying you showed up on launch day for an iPhone or iPad, when 100+ people were lined up outside the store, and they just opened the doors and had everyone run in, free for all?
