If I were to suddenly go, it could be a few things. Perhaps my parents find out that I spend way too much time online and I could bring those As even higher...no, wait a minute.
Perhaps it'd be because I was called to a perform a higher duty and MacRumors simply was not part of my life anymore.It'd be a very slim chance that I'd die, but everything of mine online would go inactive and a close friend would post a goodbye post on my personal website, explaining what happened.
Otherwise, it'd have to be some other unfortunate event with a very unfortunate outcome.

The only reason I would stop posting here is because I'm having sex. Sex, or the possibility of picking up and having sex soon, which would require me to leave my computer and socialise, of course.

Well, I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you... and that might take some time.
The heavy work in the job is seasonal and regular, every 3 months another load of marking or reports... <sigh>

If I suddenly disappear, it'll probably be because the bloody phone company has cut me off again for not paying the bill they didn't send me.
Either that, or the FA has finally seen sense and appointed me as Sven's successor.

- I was visited by aliens, handed a DVD, and was given the most incredible OS ever imagined. So wrapped up in my secret, I avoided posting to make sure I never spilled the beans.

On the other hand, perhaps I could start anew as a completely different user. Then I could post my own "Where's emw?" thread...

So in other words, if we ever see a "Where's emw" thread, we should assume that you're not really gone?
