In your opinion is the slower SSD controversy in the base M2 Air overblown?

I just installed 30GB application and its files on Macbook Air m2 (namely, Logic Pro), and guess what, the installation was limited only by internet speed and SSD speed had absolutely zero impact on the operation.

Same; or rather, I installed about three 10Gb applications and their support files. Granted, I've got the 512Gb M2 MBA, but honestly, were this thing 1/2 as fast as it is, it'd still run circles around my previous laptop. LOL

Of course, were I doing a ton of desktop publishing, photo editing, moving gigantic files, etc., I might have a different opinion, but if you're doing all that, the base MBA M2 wasn't/isn't intended for those audiences anyways.
