I bought one of this with a smart cover (leather, price matched from walmart down to 59.98) at best buy. I am actually quite happy with them both as a pair but Incase did something nice with this.

So far in my two hours of usage I am happy.

I ran by Bestbuy on the way home and picked one up. Been using smart cover only ever since the new ipad came out, but it always felt a little naked. I like it so far, but haven't really used it much. I took some pictures of the case if anyone was wanting any. Didn't have my SLR so hope the cell pics look alright. The magnet strength seems pretty strong. It did not seem to have a problem working in Incase's "special position"

Mine was delivered on Friday and it fits and works great. Love the additional viewing angle. Smart Cover stays sturdy and in place.

I cannot find anywhere to order this from and my local BestBuys don't seem to have it yet. Any suggestions where it might be available?

At my Best Buy, it was in a different area then the other iPad cases.
Your best bet is to order it for in store pick up.

I'd like to order it for pick up, but I cannot find it on the BB website to do so. I did a search there for all Incase products. Do you have a link on their website so I can place an order?

I don't think BB has updated their website to include this item. No surprise there...BB is terrible at retailing.

However, you can keep trying daily to see if it shows up under either the UPC or the Mfr model number. Both of those are searchable entries on BB's site:

Model: CL60137
UPC: 650450123660

How well does the new position hold up in a lap environment ?

Don't typically use it this way so can't say. However, its rock-solid on a flat surface like a desk/table so I'd imagine you should be OK on your lap as well.

Any alternatives with the 3rd angle and smartcover back-magnets?

My Mag Snaps for all of our iPad 2's held up remarkably well. Very sturdy, great protection.

As for the "third position," that's actually why there are two metal plates on the back of the case. The one closest to the edge is for holding the Smart Cover in the fully folded-back open position. The second is a little further towards center and is for holding the smart cover in that "third position." I've tried doing this with a non-Mag Snap and while its fine for viewing, it won't stay in that position if you try to type on it....the Smart Cover slips and the iPad falls flat.

That's what this third position is for...typing and using a stylus. It creates a rock-solid sturdy platform for that use. In fact, I think its the best stylus/note-taking/sketching position available. Its far better than the "triangle wedge" of just the Smart Cover as that lays the iPad out at such an angle that everyone can see what you are writing/drawing, plus it really lets the overhead lighting glare on the screen. I prefer to keep my notes and sketches to myself.

So yes...I do think its unique for all the other back cases out there.

I would really like to settle on the Incase MagSnap case, but the way it leaves the top and bottom edge of the iPad exposed makes me want to find something like it with more protection.

Are there any other cases out there with the "third" angle, the back-magnet to hold the SmartCover in place when not in use, and more protection for the actual iPad?
