Do you think the Incase Slider will be beat then Switcheasy Nude?

Personal opinion: Probably. I think the Switcheasy Nude looks great but i would never get it cause it does not seem to protect the front. Even the bumpers seem to have more front protection for the front then the Nude case.

I have dropped my phone a couple times and in all honesty the main thing I want to protect when i drop my phone is the front. Previous designs of the incase sliders have done a great job of both front and back protection.

On a side note: I am somewhat of an incase fanboy. I own their Nylon Sleeve laptop bag, notebook sleeve and two iphone 3g cases.

Do you think the incase slider will have a front lip like the bumper? I am upset that Nude doesnt have it.

Incase slider looks good... but so does this agent 18 case. Thoughts?

I really want an all white case. Right now I have the silicrylic. My iphone is on lantau island wherever that is, so I haven't tested it... but I'm disappointed in the feel of the silicone. And the gray I think looks bad. I'm going to pick up a can of krylon flat white and paint it.

Where did u see the Incase Slider?

I have the agent 18 slider for my old 3gs and loved it but the ecoshield doesnt look like a slider and idk about my thoughts on it yet i would love to see it in person. As of now i think the incase will look sexier than the agent 18, but we'll see

I ordered the switcheasy case in white. I should have it Saturday. It already shipped yesterday....

Yes because the previous Nude for iPhone 3G/GS had a front lip right?
Why would you expect it to have a front lip this time?

I actually prefer it with no lip. I found it pretty annoying as it gets in the way when from the multi-touch experience.

What do u mean? This ia my first iphone so I don't know much about cases.

I had 2 slider cases, one for the original iPhone (Agent 18 case), and the other for the iPhone 3G (Ivyskin Quattro T4). Both cases had the 2-piece slider design. The problem with these type of cases is that sometimes it is not 100% smooth on the inside where the iPhone touches and just the act of sliding in the case will cause scratches. Even if it was smooth 100%, if there was dust or debris when you slid the cover on, it would scratch. Unlike a case like the Nude, where you don't slide it in, you pop it in.

So u think the nude is better? Does it have a front lip? Or some type of front protection besides the screen protector? Is the phone better protected in the nude case over the slider? I am nervous about dropping and cracking my screen. Thanks.

Dude, if you are so nervous about dropping your iPhone or cracking the screen, none of these cases are for you. Why don't you get one of those thick, bulky, fugly-ass, triple-piece cases, like the one coming out from iSkin

I actually had one of those iSkin cases for my original iPhone. Yes, the protection was excellent, but seriously, it added more weight, it was so thick, it was fugly as hell, and it was a pain in the ass to keep taking off the front plastic cover off.

Front lips aren't going to prevent the front glass from cracking if you drop it on an uneven surface anyways. If you drop it face down on a rock, is it going to prevent it from cracking? If you drop a metal ball on the front glass, is the front lip going to prevent it from cracking? No. Stop worrying about dropping it already and maybe you won't drop it.

You should look at Otterbox. From what I hear, they offer great protection. I think that's the direction I'm heading.

You def make good points. Im on the fence on if i want protection or a nicer phone.

Which Otterbox are u thinking of getting? Do you know when they are coming out? Thanks.

The Commuter. It looks like a good balance between protection, function and looks. I signed up to receive updates on their release date but I haven't heard any word, yet. From what I've seen on these boards, people like the company and it's protected their other phones well. It's a new product, so a company's reputation is playing a big role in my decision.
