Am I the only one thinking that this website is dodgy, shipping policy and about us page aren't opening. Also, the 'my gear store' logo doesn't look too promising either.

This website is in US Dollars, the price for the Applesac and shipping surely wouldn't come to £20.

I tried it out, it comes to USD35 with shipping to my UK address, which is about £25 now maybe. It also recognised my amazon login.

But I'm not buying it. My backpack already comes with a removable sleeve.

I ordered an AppleSac (the black one) a couple of days ago whilst i wait for my macbook to arrive. ordering was easy and i then emailed to find out about delivery times and they gave me a USPS tracking number straight away so that I can follow it. much more efficient than the Apple Store shipping system.

Mine was 56.39 USD :S shipping was like 25 USD or 36 USD i opted for the cheap one

Ordered one from that website using Amazon details - came up to £23 including delivery - which is a bargain considering what Applesac are charging.

I need a bag for my new Macbook Pro, but I couldn't buy the Applesac. It looks like a bag you get to put your groceries in at the store. My Pro is too nice for such a cheap looking bag.

The incase looks pretty nice. I will look around some more.

FYI: The Incase sleeves are not custom fitted for the new Macbooks.

Yeah, the checkout system is basically Amazon. You can buy from this place through amazin if you like, but with shipping it adds up to quite a lot. Why can't applesac just be available in the uk!

I have the Incase, I bought it when I got my white macbook. It is a very nice case, and is extremely soft on the inside so it wont scratch the plastic. My only problem is that because I take my MacBook to school and back every day and the Incase has seemed to stretch a little. It seems a little looser than when I bought it.

Can anyone tell me what carrier mygearstore use to deliver cases? I ask because they have given me a tracking number which starts with CJ (13 digit tracking code) but it doesn't work on the UPS website nor the USPS website. It just says 'package not found'.

Any ideas?

I would be minded to order off the manufacturer's site than that third party one...

Am wondering about the shade of red for the "Red Delicious" sac. On my external monitor the picture seems a little over-exposed. "Black ColcaSac" is also a viable alternative to the original. Not looking at the flowery patterns though the pink is OK :p

I'd really like to get the Applesac, but it would come to around $60CAD with shipping... as opposed to a 13" Incase I can get locally for $34 without tax. Plus, I'd like to have the sleeve ASAP... is the incase really not a good choice for the new Alum MacBooks? Too big for it?

The Booq Vyper (Ballistic nylon - Hard) and Taipan (Neoprene - Soft) are coming out November 25th. I have seen their previous products and they are very nice.

I haven't received mine yet so I cant comment on quality just yet but their customer service at Applesac is fantastic. I placed an order for an original Applesac, the burlap one. The next day i decided i wanted to Colca one. I emailed them and asked if it could be changed at all. I was emailed back the next day saying they just shipped me out the Colca one and to not worry about the extra 4 dollars more it was. While only a 4 dollar difference, it was very nice of them and convenient.

Must give credit where its due - when I did contact them, they were really on to of their game. Instant replies were sent and it did put ma smile on a face - usually its more of them automated e-mails you receive but not with this company.

When mines arrives, will post a video review on it.

received my black colcasac today (ordered last wednesday) which is before the macbook i still havnt received that i ordered on the 17th - so thats how good the applesac service is.

the case is really nice and my housemate has already commented that he would like to crawl inside it to sleep because it is so soft.

its so small as well - is that how small my macbook is going to be! :D

I bought the black colcasac from the AppleSac website on Sunday, but have not yet gotten any email other than a receipt. I did get priority mail.

Is this typical from the company or could it have to do with today being Veteran's Day?

They don't seem to send a dispatch email for some reason, although e-mail them if you're looking for a tracking number.
