Incipio already has cases for the iPad 3- what do u think?

Leaning towards this case too although I just sent Switcheasy an email to see if my CANVAS case is compatible with the new iPad
 
Yes the flap does look kindda big, one question, do u think the STM skinny is a better choice than the Lexington?

Nah, I think the Lexington is better. I'm sure we'll see more cases in the following days. So if anything, Ill just cancel my order and get something else, Would like to have a good case on day 1. Ordered a 32 gb Black wifi only at 4:01 pm eastern.
 
does anyone know if the smart feather will fit the new one? Im keeping my smart cover from my ipad 2 for it but want some back protection as my 2 got a few scratches throughout the year. But since its a hardshell case im not so sure it will fit since its a tiny bit thicker.

**edit** nevermind I see its a preorder for the new one.

U dont think any of these Targus cases that best buy supposedly has are any good right?
 
Hardly anything available in the UK yet. I was hoping to pick up a Griffin clear rear cover, and a nice leather case for out and about..My Apple guy did warn me when he phoned for my order, but I thought he was just trying to up sell. Should have trusted him. Anybody know of a good clear rear case for the newbie?

I don't mind waiting a while for the leather one...Prefer stilgut which I have on my 4S, but that rear cover is essential.
 
is there ANY case that will secure or magnetically attach the front cover to the back? I dont want to have a smart cover and remove it all the time, and I do not want a flapping lid while I play games in bed or on the couch.

I want a case that has magnets for the cover on the front and back does this exist??

No , most have a flap, do u really think its a problem?
 
One thing I'm concerned about is using this in typing mode. It doesn't look like the case latches onto anything when you prop it into that position.

Once the loop is in the belt loop, it holds really well and typing is a breeze.

Not sure if this case will, but this style of case I've used and there really very functional IMO

Yeah you have a point. Thanks for the update on shipping too. I went ahead and ordered this case in black with the discount code. Hopefully we get this before our new iPads. :D
