Well, I got my grey Lexington case today, and here are my thoughts:
1. I am utterly disappoed with the build quality on this. First, there were two blemishes (that appear to be small rips) on the inside cover. Also, there are many scuff marks on the rubber fitting that the iPad goes into. On the back where the rubber meets the faux leather, there is a gap, and inside that gap in multiple places where some white material is (not supposed to be on there). Also, the rubber fitting that the iPad is placed in does not fit uniformly around the iPad, having large gaps in some spots.
2. While the magnetic wake does work, I have two issues with it. 1) I can visibly see the outline of the magnet on the inside cover. 2) on multiple occasions while having the case in book mode, the case has turned the iPad off.
Now for the good:
1) I love how slim and lightweight this is. Does it add much bulk to the iPad, and it looks sleek
2) I very much enjoy the stand angle
3) it looks sleek
While this case does have some good things, I feel that it is definitely not worth the $40 it is worth. Hopefully I just got a bad one, but the quality of the case is not what I expected at all.
