I take my watch off the charger at 0700, and am often down to 50% by noon, and that is with minimal notifications; really only using it as a timepiece. Not sure exactly what is eating up the battery.

Update: Mine actually died completely by 12:30 today. No third-party usage, maybe two notifications all day. Might have a dud. Going to wipe it clean tonight and try again, and this time decline Apple Diagnostics and install zero third-party apps.

Good luck. That is definitely not right. Might have to swap for a new one.

Thanks for that pic! I've been waiting for someone to show the usage.
Similar battery issues. However, my usage and standby times are very close. I mentioned that ro Apple and they are clueless as to a fix. My iPhone battery is draining just as fast. It seems that something is running in the background on both and depleting the battery.

Just got my watch yesterday, charged it overnight. Took it off today at 4:30 am by 2:30 completely ran out. I barely used it. Declined two phone calls, responded to 5 texts and I did not download any apps. Just used the ones the watch came with.

My battery usage was the highest when I first got the watch. I've restarted it a couple of times and have done one complete hard shut down using both buttons. That was a while ago, I've had the watch about two and half weeks. Battery life got better for me.

Update 2: Unpaired amd erased = Better battery life (for now)

Update: Unpaired and erased the watch. Charged it up, re-paired but did not install any third party apps. Watch is now at 87% after 4 hours. MUCH better. Appears one of the third party apps might have been to blame, but do they use battery power when they are not on the watch face? Installed apps (best I recall) were MyFitnessPal, NOAA High def radar, Gaia GPS, Wunderlist, Evernote, Workflow, and 1Password.

You can't blame a inconsistent battery life on one day of use, especially if you first got it! like every iPhone, the first day or two you get it you're own it more than you think and the battery life goes down quicker because you're setting it up and trying new things out and the battery needs atleast a couple full drain and full chargers to be working properly. Give it a week and its going fast with little use then turn it in.

Okay, I think I have found a fix somewhat. I did several things and not sure which one worked 100%. I did a system restore of both devices and then re-paired. What I think did the trick was the following. I went into the watch settings and then to notifications..Every single app on my iPhone 6 was checked to send notifications to the iPhone which I think was constantly interacting with the phone. I would guess that the more apps you have on your phone, the quicker the battery dies. I unchecked about 95% of the apps and I have been getting way better battery life.

Also, my standby and usage times are starting to have a better spread than I did yesterday. My phone has been off of the charger for an hour and I am still at 100%, which for the last few days I would have been down to 90 already.

Try disabling the notifications and see if that helps!!!!
