They are live in iTunes now. Quite a limited amount but worth it for the odd film. Four Billboards is about the only one which I've purchased, I typically rent rather than own.

None from my wish list though. I guess that's what happens when I love independent film!

Damn though, bought Mama Mia Here We Go Again on Christmas day for £11.99 and now £2.99 - oh well, live in the moment :) Pleasant enough big budget film BUT a lot of the outside scenes looked super staged indoors to my eyes - definitely not cool!!!

Looking forward to seeing Bohemium Rhapsody :)

Still loving 'Call Me By Your Name' which i've now seen 100 times in the last 10 months :) :) :) :) :)

Super staged? Yeah maybe because it's a stage musical lol

I don't think I've ever had so many big price drops on my CheapCharts wish list. I've just bought:

Deadpool (4K) £2.99
The Martian (4K) £1.99
The Godfather (HD) £3.99
Memento (HD) £1.99
Unbreakable (HD) £3.99

Might just pick up a couple more before the end of the week. Very happy.

It's supposed to be on a Greek island and in the hotels garden not on a damn theatre stage :) :) :) - very poorly done as the rest of the film was 'nice' in a mainstream way - it's not a deep film that you'd watch time and time again but as a mainstream release it kind of ticked the boxes. Just not deep enough for me :) It's a basic bread and butter film.

Great prices. I just wish I could buy them by setting up a UK iTUnes account :(

Don't worry buddy - i'm sure that you'll get some good iTunes deals over in Canada! PS I think that life in Canada is rather nicer than living in the UK so you've got a better deal ;) ;) ;)

Well, what did you expect from a ABBA musical lol

Yahoo, bought a UK prepaid iTunes card and bought The Dark Tower and King Arthur Legend of the Sword. Not great movies according to many but they are fun to watch IMHO.

Thanks OP.

Thanks for the tip. Its actually a good sale for once.:)

Blade runner 2049
Gidden figures
The shape of water
Theory of everything
Baby driver
Ready player one
Three billboards
The greatest showman
American Made
The imagination game
Kingsman

These are all very good movies I have watched in the past year. I will buy a couple right now but only ones in 4k.

I just purchased Red Sparrow and The Mummy (2017). I'm contemplating Murder on the Orient Express for its picture quality.
Nice. I just bought 5 movies at £2.99 each. The timing of this sale is perfect as I will be staying in a hotel for 3 nights next month and will there after start a job that requires commuting in to London for 1h 20min. It feels great to have a couple of films in the bag.

Thanks for this. I'v bought stand by me. Still looking and I've just seen that crazy rich Asian's is £2.99 and I paid full price for it last week:confused:

Edit: Also got Alien and Aliens.

I have a 2 hour commute each way everyday so I buy a lot of digital content so it's nice to see it reduced.

Ooh I had not noticed Memento! Just grabbed that one too!

I have bought crazy rich Asians the past hours. This sale makes some full price movies at £7-10 look overpcied. Frozen is a joke at £13 but Disney knows that parents will have no choice but to pay that much to please their kids/toddlers happy.

Tomorrow I will go through the store again and see whether anything else is worth picking up as some of the prices are cheaper than what it typically costs to even rent a movie.

Many people who purchased items at full price last week, have successfully requested refunds. It’s worth a try. Say you purchased the film by mistake or something!

Fight Club and Heat are also only £1.99 each. Great films

Unfortunately I’ve already watched it so I guess they will see that.

Due to this https://advanced-television.com/2019/01/18/mega-movie-week-to-drive-digital-ownership/ the UK iTunes Store has some amazing deals on right now. Eg Greatest Showman and Deadpool 2 for £2.99.

Loads of other deals, go and check it out.

Wow thanks! I don’t have an Apple TV but will be checking out my Amazon Prime account, that’s where I have my collection.

Fancy these companies promoting digital ownership of films? Perhaps a way to compete with Netflix?

Netflix is different. Their strength are shows and original content film. Pay the subscription fee and watch everything that available without having to pay an extra penny.

Ops. I just bought three more. 10 movies in 4K Dolby Vision for £30 is an UTTER bargain compared with £13 for other full priced 4K movies.

Please Apple, make another awesome sale like this in a few months.

Netflix still mainly consists of none Netflix titles, it shows a lot of films including those in this sale. But it is a competitor to cable operators and platforms that sell films.

I bought a lot.. on my Prime account.. and still am looking at some more!
