Mine finished in less than 24 hours too, I’d say this is an incremental index or something like that.

Anyone getting this message on beta 3?

The percentage log is still available, search for the following message:

Code:
fetchPipelineCompleteness: display=visibleWithoutPercentage days=0 percent=...

Percent is 100 times the value you see.

Indexing is trash who ever is responsible for it should be fired lol
It’s still a relatively early beta. It’s the price you pay when you using a beta. This kind of outrage is unnecessary.

My indexing seems also to stuck at 27% on my phone. I installed DB3 on Tuesday.
At least we get DB4 next week most likely 🙂

IMHO, the best thing to do is to ignore this whole indexing business altogether. Mine was stuck solid at 87% throughout beta 1 and disappeared as soon as I installed beta 2.

As to DB4, I think we should expect it the week after next, around 20-21 July. After that we should move to weekly beta cycles.

SIRI Is not at all upto the marks, its not able to identify famous person images , not able to provide exact person details. Litarally this is not APp issue, its backend core algoritham problem. As apple working on this Siri backend part since 4 years, still not get ready for users.

There’s a thread dedicated to Siri. This is an indexing thread.

Having said that, these kind of posts are not helpful in the least. No mention of the iPhone model or specific Siri requests. And you’re right. It’s not ready for users because it’s just a BETA. You should not install a beta if you’re only planning on criticizing features instead of providing actual feedback.

huh? I have been able to point my phone at the TV or an image of someone and Siri has been able to identify the person on the screen. brings up info. works just fine for me.
