They start stocking accessories before release of the phones.

They normally have the accessories the Monday before the release in the stores. It's been that way for several years now...

*Thanks for the waste of time. Went to my local Apple Store just now. Said they can only be viewed and tried on in Friday. I said “but it says on your online stores that I could order them right now and pick them up right now…so you’re stocking them right now obviously…can I at least buy them now?” Him: “…looking and trying only on Friday”

Why did I even try with a retail store? Just gonna look at pics from the fine folks here and order online.

Official iPhone 14 Pro Max leather case arrived today in ink. Very nice purple tint to it.

Below is two pics which it next to a dark blue iPhone 13 Pro Caseology case and a black iPhone 13 Pro Spigen case.

Got mine today. Looks very dark blue to me. Maybe the slightest, slightest hint of purple if I hold it up to a window and angle it. Maybe. Nah, it’s blue.

If you want a dark blue case buy it. If you want purple you’ll be disappointed.

Umber is awesome though.

Went to my local Apple Store today and they brought one out so I could see it for myself. I did not see any hint of purple. Just dark blue or what Apple used to call midnight (before darkening it significantly last year).

Very odd that Apple didn’t offer a deep purple silicone case to go with the phone. I have an ink case coming as well.
