As I have been eagerly looking forward to the new iPhone hardware I have been consuming and digesting as much info on this topic as my schedule allows. That being said I believe the following:

The pictures from the opening of this thread are legit. - Because the design has such a close resemblence to what has been released by Giz.
The pictures (and later video) first made available by Giz are from a prototype stolen from Apple in January of this year. - John Gruber et al.
The final iPhone released will be similar to the prototype sans the seams and screws. - observing past and present Apple design.

These conclusions may very well be debatable but in the end I don`t think I`m too far off on this.

What are your thoughts?

Sans the seams and screws? Why?

3G/3GS have screws. Why not the 4G?

Specificly I mean the look of the seams and screws on the prototype. The look is just a little too rough, sure they will be there just better looking. More refined I think.
