You keep arguing that it will work. It MIGHT. The proof is when it boots and runs.
Likely you might have to swap out a graphic card or network card as only a very few are supported. A computer is MORE than just the CPU and RAM. There are USB controllers, video, networking WiFi, boot ROMS and so on.
One good way to make this work is to NOT use your PC hardware. First get VMware and make a virtual PC and then install Mac OX X on the virtual hardware. Well, that is one more option.
I'll wait and see what you say. Try it and report back.
One more thing: Why dual boot. I never see the point. If you want Mac OS then run it full time. For the few Windows maps you must use run this in a virtual machine.
I just followed the instructions on line, they were simple and good to get me my build working. Right now running 32gigs ddr3 ram ( up to 64 if i want ) 1 512gig SSD Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 and a I7 quad core ( 8 threads ) with a Gigabyte board. OSX 10.9.5 everything runs 100% sound video ethernet. I use it for rendering FCP-x files, thats about it.. OH and storage soon to throw in 2 x 6tb drives Mirrored for storage for video files..
I also have a macbook core 2 du ( white ) hate it, it's slow old and gets hot even surfing the net. I'll be giving it to the child to use / play with, after i put a 120gig ssd into it.
The wife uses my handed macbook pro 13" with 4gigs ram and a 120gig ssd ( soon to be upgraded to a 512 or 256 )
I have tons of computer stuff in the house..
