I just wanted to have my calendar entries in the LockScreen and it seems a bit of an overkill to pay $10 for IntelliscreenX... It's a lot of money for a tweak

This thing seems to be hogging a ton of my RAM with the latest update. It takes a second for the screen to pop up from sleep when I hit the home button. I do have the ticker, FB page, Twitter page, and RSS page updating along with stock weather. Just cleared out my multitasking tray and did a respring, sitting at 170 MB. :/

I know ISX is doing a lot in the background, just wish it were a little better.

I was in the same boat but I went ahead and bit the bullet.

Crazy that Apple doesn't allow this.

Keep in mind this is/will be Version 1.0 of this product. If you have specific suggestions/problems, send them to Intelliborn via Twitter. What are they supposed to improve with a problem description of 'wish it were a little better'?

+1 I am experiencing the same thing. Most of the time, I end up hitting the home button twice, and when the screen does turn on, it brings up the volume controls because it thinks I did a double-click. It can definitely improve the responsiveness when bringing it out of sleep/lock.

Good point with the version 1.0...

But I just said what I am asking for them to improve. The amount of memory this program hogs. And I have listed exact details on what the current version is doing when there is nothing else the phone is being tasked to do.

However, I know I don't need to submit this as they are well aware it is a hog, as shown by the numerous releases stating that they are still improving on it.

What are your refresh settings? I have fb/twitter/mail on manual and don't have any problems with lag. As for memory usage, I just let iOS handle that unless I notice lag, then I use WeeKillBackground for a quick refresh.

When my phone is locked and I receive a text message I can hear the new message sound, but when I unlock I get the notification again. Any ideas why this is happening

Folks, still having some lag when I slide down the NC, it takes some seconds to display, so annoying and not sure why this is happening.

Anyone else with this same problem?

Yup it's laggy for me too.

Does anyone know if the top shelf will be customizable with more toggles in the future? Have they said if that's something they're working on?

Those with lag on iPhone 4? Have you guys tried to disable things one by one in isx? It's pretty smooth for me. I have disabled auto refresh, ticker and rss.

I hope they do. For now you could always add bbsettings or sbsettings toggles to the top shelf.

I was getting some lag, but my biggest problem was battery loss. After installing intelliscreenx, my battery was getting killed. I lost 15% in about 30 minutes, with no use at all. And my phone was hot. I tried disabling RSS, Twitter, and FB but the thing was still killing my battery. I uninstalled it, and battery usage went back to my pre-IOS 5 days. (I am using an iphone 4). Anyway, I am trying Lockinfo, and I'm not seeing the battery drain that I had on Intelliscreen X. I really like ISX, but I can't stand that battery drain. Hope they figure that one out. Lockinfo is pretty much the same was in iOS 4. Still has some stability issues, but all in all, it seems good.

15% in 30 minutes idling. Ouch. I wonder what's causing that on your phone. Never had battery issues on my i4 with isx. Perhaps a conflict with another app on your phone?

Well, that's the thing...I installed iOS5, then I jailbroke. Then I installed ISX There were no other apps on the phone other than the stock apps. No other jailbreak apps. Battery was just getting killed. I decided it was iOS 5. I disabled notifications, I disabled location services. I deleted mail accounts. I tried all the suggestions I could find. No joy. Battery still was getting killed. Then, I removed ISX. Battery went back to normal.

I have an iphone4 and I removed rss, not sure if it's because I have lockinfo. I'll try disabling ticker but where auto refresh setting is?

This lag is kind of frustrating.

Did you have your feeds (rss, twitter, facebook) set to refresh every time you pulled down ISX? I changed all mine to only update every 6 hours (essentially manually then) and my battery is excellent on iOS 5 with ISX installed.

To diable auto refresh just go into the ISX settings and into each plugin and switch refresh settings for "on ISX view" to whatever time you want (mine, as i said, is 6 hours.. that way it updates only when I want to refresh it)

Whats the hold up , it looked fine in the video

They had a post on twitter saying they were completely reworking some of the UI features that had bugs they couldn't resolve.

I totally disabled the RSS, Twitter and FB feeds. Still had the battery drain. No, I guess the feeds could still be updating even though they were not visible. Is that possible?
