The risk of losing data is too high for someone in such an important position.

Hell, even 10.3.0 corrupted your data if you turned file vault on. So release candidate, and even final releases mean nothing!

I would expect Steve Jobs to use beta leopard day to day, but guaranteed he will have many many forms of backups (a couple of MBP's probably). He seems too hands on to not provide feedback throughout development process on what is arguably the most important piece of Mac software.

Cupertino is not exclusively on Leopard, by any means.

Even a lot of the programmers have both Tiger and Leopard. One for stability, one for testing.

We really should end the rampant paranoia that pops up on these forums.

I am so uninterested in 3rd party apps for my iphone. If I want lame second-rate doo-dads and emulators of 20 year old games I can do that on my computer.

you are just trying to start a big argument about the merits of third party applications. please troll somewhere else..

I would imagine Jobs would say (or at least mean) "We like third party apps too, and we're working on a PROFITABLE way to let them onto the iPhone."
