International (EU, non-US) iPad 2 Shipping Dates, 1st "Prepared for Shipment" Status!

Mine still hasn't been dispatched. I think it's going to end up being dispatched on the estimated dispatch day, totally unlike pretty much everyone else who has ordered.

I can't understand why these are going to Cologne then back to Hong Kong again for delivery to Europe. Seems a stupid waste. Mine states the same as yours.

First the documents get transported so that when the ipad actually gets departed, there is no delay in processing it in customs and it can instantly be sent off to the next place.

Yep, I can see that now - the paper work appears to be done ahead of time and the iPad is now catching up. UPS state a delivery date by the end of tomorrow (18th). That'll be some going as it has to now be moved from Cologne to my home address in the UK within the next 20 hours.

Mines the same and it is already out for delivery. I'm sure yours will be too.

Mine is also Out for Delivery. It's now 2:13 p.m. here and still no sign of the UPS truck. It goes without saying that I'm a tad antsy right now. I hate waiting!

Congrats tarkin1977 on getting yours, hope you are enjoying it.

Update: Now delivered into my waiting hands and having some Ghost Armor applied to it.
