my wife has had one on her 3G for 2 years. I've always used PowerSupport Anti-Glare and love them. She just peeled her IS off her 3G and may I say the phone is in practically pristine condition after 2 years!

I was not a huge fan of the "orange peel" feel and look but it served its purpose for 2yrs. There is some scratches on the back of the phone and some dirt that got under in some spots but overall I'm pretty impressed and so was she. She threw that 3G around, in the purse it got beat up pretty bad. The IS takes the brunt.

Also her home key was covered as well so that is a plus.

But Wrapsol is also another awesome product. Friend uses one on his 3g and swears after 1yr (he took it off the other night) very minimal scratches and dirt, etc...

so i'm not sure which one to get...

That's great to hear about the wrapsol. Since Power Support won't have one by launch day, I'm glad I bought the Wrapsol.

the only concern i have about all these screen protectors is will they take away from the clarity of the new display??

Ahh I hate IS, but since it's the only one that will be here before launch day I will probably break down and buy it. Wish I could order wrapsol but they aren't shipping until the 24th.

Usually do wrapsol back and PS crystal film on front, and PS isn't even beginning production until the 24th :(

Is bodyguardz shipping out on the 24th also?

I don't really like ZAGG skins they turn yellow on me everytime. I went with a power support on my 3G after the ZAGG kept yellowing and it seemed to work better.

Although I'm glad the iPhone 4 is flat on front and back it should make putting the skin on a lot easier. The rounded backs on the 3G 3Gs are a nightmare to put the skin on.

I have had them on my 3g and 3gs and have never had a problem of yellowing.

I really liked the protection of zagg's IS, but i recently had to have my 3GS replaced, and when i took the IS off... wow it looks so darn yellow. I was literally in awe of my 3GS screen for a few days after that, because it just looked so crisp! So now i'm getting the iphone 4 and serously considering getting a bumper and one of these http://www.sgpstore.com/product_info.php/cPath/21_28_89/products_id/1451

That still leaves the back open.. Any suggestions??!

I love the InvisibleShield and plan to order 2 for the new iPhones we're getting. The only concern that I have is that with the openings on both the top and bottom of the phone, as well as the new "seams", it seems like it's easier to get the excess moisture that you're supposed to squeegee out inside the phone, which worries me.

Hold the phone upside down when you squeegee it. That way any excess will drop down and not in the phone.

just looked closely at the wrapsol skins, why the heck did they need to cut out a spot for the proximity sensor when the skins are optically clear?

asking wrapsol on twitter netted no decent response either:

"all functionality will be retained"

the hell does that answer? nothing if you ask me.

You're referring to the Power Support films...They are, IMHO, the best. I also wish they made one for the back.

Power Support has said that they will come out with a front screen protector around launch day...but I am keeping an eye on their site until then.

If you find a good protector for the back, please share it with us.

ditto.... LOVE my power support! maybe now that the iphone is flat they will make one????

i hope it comes out so i can order one and get it on launch day so i can put it on immediately!!!!

while I used to use invisible shield all the time back in the day, I agree that I'm not the biggest fan of the orange peel and it does turn orange/darker over time.
I ended up purchasing bodyguardz for the 3GS and have to admit I'm very pleased with their product. Very little orange peel and while it has gotten darker, it's not extremely noticable (even on a white phone).

Not to mention you get two of them in their pack

I've never used a front screen protector on any generation of iPhone and have never had scratches. I may just go protector-less with the 4th gen for the time being.

I'm wondering about this also. I don't want a random hole cut out above my speaker hole.

I wish Power Support would get off their butts and at least say on their site that they'll even make one for the new iPhone 4... eventually.

Or they should at least give you a "warm fuzzy" and say that they will email you when its available.

I d like to have one ASAP once the new iphone comes out.

Anyone know another company that make a screen protector that is comparable to the Power support? (and may be out soon after the iPhone release)

I like them to not show fingerprints and thats the main reason I get a screen protector.
