Anyone who knows anything about software development, knows that "1,000+ software engineers" is usually the LAST thing you'd want working on a release.

More is not better, when it comes to software

It depends actually. Those 1000 software engineers where not mentioned to be specific to iOS. They have borrowed from the Mac team as well. The point is they have the man power, the men have the competence and one month between a pretty stable beta and a GM isn't as short as people think.

Hey, I had 10 mins free and had an idea, so here's my attempt at a 5S/5C invite

Little kind of play-on-words thing Apple sometimes uses, and an homage back to their past with the striped background. The 2 obviously indicates 2 new phones.

Great job! Maybe the middle icon could be the Phone icon like Apple did with the 4S invite.

I like this one, but change the Apple to a phone, it makes more sense.

This is horrendous because I did it on Paper app since I don't have any real computer programs/editing software to make something passable, so think more concept than anything, but kind of like this:

Call me stupid, but what does this one mean?

much better, but you also need to somehow incorporate the date too, since you know, those are usually on invitations.
