Take out the background and shadow, and make the text a light shade of grey. It'll help.

It may visually not be what you like, but it's not skeuomorphic.

Even a wooden texture isn't automatically skeuomorphic.

An outset border on a virtual button is, however, because buttons in a UI don't need to look like that in order to be able to be pressed.
