The download seems to be broken in the UK. Downloaded it this morning but then it hung my phone at verification. Now it just says it's unable to check for an update

Try resetting Network Settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

You'll have to awkwardly ask for your mate's home Wi-Fi password again, but at least your phone works
 
Any idea why I'm using 10.2.1 (14D10) but I also have an unremovable notification in settings that 10.2.1 is ready to download?

I was a beta user but my latest update wouldn't verify online, so I reset all settings, deleted the beta profile, deleted the new downloaded OS, rebooted, etc., yet the notification is still there. If I try to update the system, despite all the resetting, it hangs on Verifying and I end up having to do the two-button Heimlich maneuver.

News widget gone here in Canada. Tried changing to USA then back to Canada in region settings & no change.
 
Hello all. I'm a day late to the party it seems as I've only just upgraded.

Has this finally fixed the early shutoff bug please?

Anyone experienced a shutoff with battery remaining?

Hopefully not.

Did work here in Germany for one day. Now it doesn't anymore.

I posted this in the battery thread as well, but given that I just noticed this with my iPhone 7 running iOS 10.2.1 (although it's possible I just simply didn't catch this before) I figured I post it here as well: I watched a movie for about 1 hour and 20 minutes and afterward checked the battery usage which showed the correct standby, but for some reason the usage time didn't really seem to increase by much compared to what it was before I started the movie.

It's almost like the time while the the movie was playing (full screen) didn't really count at all. In the app battery usage section the correct video app shows up with the right time on screen, but somehow that time isn't reflected in the actual overall usage time.
 
security holes found in iOS 10.2 are in 10.1 as well? my ip7 came with 10.1 instaled. i dont want upgrade unless is necessarily

Generally speaking anything older would have those security issues that were patched later.

I went from 10.2 to 10.2.1 and I'm definitely experiencing quite a bit shorter battery life. Hope 10.3 corrects it

Looks like I have encountered "iPhone connection has been reset" issue during iTunes backup.
 
Spotlight search doesn't work for me. Nothing pops up when you type into the search field. If you hit the home button to cancel the search then drag down again to bring it up it sometimes works.

Bluetooth is basically worthless now. My Jaybird X2s drop after about twenty minutes of use. I've done the restart dance (Bluetooth off/on, headphones off/on, iOS device off/on, unpair/repair, factory reset headphones) for the last few days and I'm officially tired of it.

These headphones were working fine just a week ago.
 
For me it is the best... Better than the 10.2 for about 20-25%

Anyone got an iPhone 6s 64GB that can verify what the capacity shows in settings>general>about? Also what storage adds up to in manage storage >used + available. Much appreciate either screenshot or just info.
 
I saw a bit better battery life over Airplane mode when charging overnight. For me every update since iOS 9 is bad. I know that the operation system is more capable for the new devices like 7/7+ but come on,it's unacceptable to drain so much battery for absolute nothing. I even don't have backround app refresh ON..
