iOS 10.3 Beta 3 - Bug Fixes, Changes, etc.

I'm thinking this is the last big, bug fixing, update for 32 bit devices before WWDC comes and tells us they're not getting iOS 11.
 
Okay. So with the newest beta, this website shows trouble with T-Mobile 27.5.11. Used Safari.

OK DFU restored iPad mini 4 back to 10.2.1 and restored older 10.2 backup. All fine. Then edited a 10.3 backup file's info.plist changing the build to 14D27 and version to 10.2.1 and it restored it, fine as well. So that still works. I would recommend a reset all settings afterwards if anyone attempts this to default the settings back to 10.2.1 values just in case. But it seems that downgrading from 10.3 beta 3 back to 10.2.1 does in fact still work. (*Using iTunes with Windows 10)

Oh so you are saying the gray should go all the way across, I misread your post. My iP6s is the same as this but iPad on 10.2.1 there is no gray at all. I just don't remember how it was 🙂. Just saw a post in the public beta release forum that this is a "nice" feature. So maybe intentional and not a bug. Guess the gray was never there before.

Oops. Missed that post. Apologies. Kind of pointless then for the iPhone 5 it seems.
 
"Diagnostics and Usage" toggle has changed to "iPhone Analytics" in Privacy>Location Services>System Services

Okay - wasn't sure if this was referring to the intermittent app switcher black app screen because that is still occurring for me.

New Bug
Selecting multiple emails in Mail will cause the messages to be highlighted with a blue box.

Defect raised to Apple.

Don't know if this is isolated to me. Apple Watch to unlock MacBook does not work. The easy connect to hotspot doesn't work and I get prompted to enter Apple ID after a reboot. Anyone else? On 7+ and ipp

EDIT: I have resolved the issues (other than entering Apple ID on reboot) by updating my Mac to the new beta as well.

I cancelled/terminated settings and all seems fine - no further requests and messages et al all working ok it seems. Universal cut&paste still not working between Mac (latest beta) and iOS, but fine between iOS devices. I've never had this working, except perhaps on one occasion as a seemingly lucky fluke.

Yeah I was down to 77% after 2.5 hours with about 1 hours usage, but it's not indicative in the first 24 hours given indexing etc. Make sure you give it a cycle or two to (re)calibrate before judging.

Beta 2 battery performance was just horrible. The phone even managed to die with 7% left. Then came alive again with 8% with no charge given.

Try this:
1. make sure you have some notifications in notification center.
2. go to the homescreen.
3. Invoke spotlight with a swipe down.
4. Invoke notification center with a swipe down
5. Tap on a notification and enjoy the show.

I get random Apple ID sign-in prompts too, cancelling usually doesn't change anything.

My home screen is now inaccessible... Good find.
EDIT: Pressing home button brought back the home screen, but now the Cancel button doesn't work on Spotlight. The Spotlight bar on the Today View doesn't work either.
TO FIX: Drop the notification center and tap on Spotlight and tap out.

Some 6s users are experiencing fantastic battery life and others are having horrible battery life. Do you know if you have a Samsung or TSMC chip in your iPhone 6s Plus? I'm wondering if 'chipgate' is coming back to haunt 6s users on iOS 10 - perhaps being better optimized for one vs the other?
