i hope it comes soon.
getting a little bit concerned how buggy the release at the time of the show in September will be.
actually very concerned. I'm recommending my friends turn off automatic updates for this one.

Tomorrow with the rough start of Dark Mode implementation in Settings, Music, Notes, Calendar, Mail, Photos and Messages as well as on Notifications and Control Center. More native apps to follow but no API (yet).

I wouldn't be so sure about those who say three week cycles starting. If we were to stick to typical 2 weeks that still only puts iOS 10.0 beta at 6 builds (7th would be on the 12th which is rumoured to be the announcement day. Which is when it should actually be releasing to the public. Not another beta build.) Even 6 is somewhat low for a x.0 beta. At three week cycles it would give 10.0 only 5 builds. Which is even lower than recent "usuals".

Not yet. One more beta on the Monday or Tuesday and then we'll move to a three week cycle. I know it's in the past but both iOS 8 beta 4 and iOS 9 beta 4 were both released 14 and 16 days respectively after beta 3.
I don't think we can look at iOS 9 as an example. iOS 9.0B1->B2 was 2 weeks, this year B1->B2 was 3 weeks.

This.

And this is how I think we'll see the future iOS 10 beta's pan out:

Beta 4 - The week commencing the 1st of August (two week gap from beta 3).
Beta 5 - The week commencing the 15th of August (two week gap from beta 4).
Beta 6 - The week commencing 29th of August (two week gap from beta 5).
GM to developers - On the day of the iPhone event (possibly 5th or 6th of September).
GM to the public - 16th of September.

From that, we might not see any beta's released every three weeks. If I increase the timeframe on the beta's from two to three weeks, we're out of time. Considering how stable iOS 10 is, I don't think we'll see more than six beta's. Any minor bugs will be fixed in either 10.1 or 10.0.1.

I personally think:
Beta 4. This coming week. (Week of Aug 1)
Beta 5. Two weeks later. (Week of Aug 15)
Beta 6. One week after that. (Week of Aug 22)
GM day of event which should be September 7th.
Public Release September 14th.

Apple hasn't released a final beta that close to the event. And with the rumored Sept 16th launch day, the event would be no later than Sept 7th. There is always a 2-3 week spread between final beta and event with the GM.

That's what I meant; I got the event date wrong. Event on the 6th, pre-orders on the 9th with a release on the 16th regarding the iPhone.

Not counting crashes, ramdom slowness, lag, battery drain, many app not supporting it yet, many just plain crashing then yeah very solid.

I mean, I get what you're saying and I've experienced all of those things, but they've been pretty sporadic for me. Obviously there's so many variables from apps we use and which phone we use and what kind of battery life we need that it's hard to compare experiences. With that being said, I've been kind of surprised how usable iOS 10 has been from the first beta.

Apple has shocked us with two things in iOS 10 beta.
1. Public beta 1 alongside developer beta 2.
2. Three weeks between DP 1 and 2.

I don't mind they shock us again.

6S+, still a little laggy overall.
Battery life is ok.
Messages mess up.
Mail messes up.
Phone occasionally turns itself off while using apps. No app in particular, and completely random

The delete function and the enter function on iPad Pro continue to dump the page to the bottom.
PB3 stable? Not even close.

is anyone else having MORE frequent crashes? these past few days I'm getting endless weird bugs.. was running fine and then boom. happening on both 6S and 6 Plus

Many apps lack of support has nothing to do with Apple.

It's a beta, but I do assume you haven't done a previous beta? I think this is one of the most usable beta ios' I've seen.

I think it's getting more buggy as it goes, and reboots do not help. The same seemed true for the other two iOS beta's. Not sure how or why it gets more buggy.
