The event should be at some point in early September (invites are yet to go out for it) and that's when the release date of the new iPhone will be announced and the release date of iOS 10 basically.

Well... Try saying "Enable Snickers mode", "Enable Pokémon Go Mode", whatever. You'll receive nothing but "I don't know what you mean" - until you try "Enable Dark Mode" - then the reply is "I cannot change that setting". Exciting. 🙂

I experienced an incredible boost in performance after beta 6. On beta 7 it keeps being excellent, yet not perfect.

Previous betas were terrible.

Did anyone got the bottom speaker distorted with the latest beta? I haven't tried rolling back to 9.3.4 and I don't really feel like it. I hope this happens because of the beta and not a hardware malfunction.

This is a really solid beta and performs better than 9.3.4 in every way and battery life is solid. Impressed!

What are you running it on a 4s? No lag this time. Even the hard core "laggers" have not made mention of it.

I'm probably one of the pickiest people, and my 5S is flying. Better than iOS9, probably as good as iOS8 was (admittedly a vague memory now)

Quick question fellas, currently running the public beta 6. Did they allow the Digital Touch feature in the Messages app to go into landscape mode in beta 7 ? I could've swore I saw a video in the past showing the user turning into landscape mode to send their digital signature

No, Apple announces events roughly 9 days before the event. The event is rumored to be held on Sept 7th, so expect to see an invite around Aug. 29th.

I honestly say no. I'm pretty sure we are done with betas. The event is 2.5 weeks away. The music app bugs will probably be fixed in the GM.

Apple has certainly broken the mold with this cycle but I don't think we'd see a beta on a Monday after getting one on a Friday. It's possible we'll see another, but increasingly unlikely.

The consensus is its a bug but no ones really knows. Seems the icon should be there always and grey out if the song is already downloaded. But not totally disappear but actually work. Cant imagine that was intentional.

Depends on the app as Good makes a few of them. Seems like Enterprise doesn't, but the others do. Generally on Good to update the apps to get them working.

Im really satisfied as well with the current battery life and hope that doesn't change once gm comes out. With DB6 I experienced the worst battery life ever, completely dead after 5-6 hours with very little on-screen time so I had to take my charger with me wherever I went.

Does anyone know a fix for iOS 10 making light wallpapers much darker than they should be? The default white wallpapers are coming out grey rather than white when set as a wallpaper
