Good question. Everything was going well while Scott Forstall was in charge of UI design and Ive was in charge of hardware design under the supervision of Steve Jobs. Now, when Ive is in charge of the UI and hardware design and there's no one above him I don't believe some low level designer could change anything. Anyone who's disagree with the direction he's going seems to be fired or leaving.

Simple solution that can be done in iOS 11.

1) BRING BACK "GROUP BY APP." Virtually EVERYONE hates "recent"

2) This collapsed notifications in lock screen.

[Edit] Collapsed Notification might be an issue if you like replying from lock screen. Simple fix though! Let users TURN THIS FEATURE ON!
