Mind me asking why you feel that way?

In terms of the iPad Pro as a productivity tool it's likely great (I don't own one personally) for a lot of people but missing features such as USB-C etc mean a fair few will have to look towards the likes of Microsoft's Surface Pro etc.

I wouldn't expect to run OS X 'full fat' on an iPad but something that aids my workflow (rather than hinders it) would be nice if the option was 'there'.

People get an iPad Pro because it's a good touch device. If you were to make it a hybrid with a desktop, you'd likely wreck that. If I wanted a mediocre tablet OS and a mediocre laptop OS, I wouldn't have gotten an iPad Pro and I wouldn't have a MacBook Pro.

I would love to have a customizable control center. There are functions I use frequently such as turning my Hotspot on and off that I would like to swap for button in the CC that I never use (like the calculator button).

There is a calculator button? *checks quickly* Oh, you are right! :) I would love it too to be able to swap unused buttons. :)

I think it only does because you're obviously reading it as the letter "X", not the number "10"... if you look at the name "iOS X" & say it in your head as "iOS 10", you will find it indeed does NOT sound wrong, weird, or anything else... it only sounds sensical- (see because ten comes after nine...).
No, for me it's only because it's so similar to OS X (I actually read it as OS 10). iOS X and OS X just don't match together in my opinion. iOS 9 and OS X? Yeah. iOS X and Mac OS X? Yeah. iOS X and OS X? No, not really.

Weird.

Agreed -- really nice concept. Apple should hire this guy.

Right there is probably the hope of 99% of all the makers of device renderings and concept videos. To get hired at Apple.

Some call it art.

I call it pathetic.

Yeah, I'm at a COMPLETE loss as to this mindset.
I mean... what are the necessary skills to make a fantasy rendering that are so rare that anyone that possesses them should be snatched up by Apple??
Like, do people think that someone that quickly slaps together a render of a feature they'd like could compete with professionals with degrees from top universities & years of experience in UI design... people that have seen untold amounts of research about what "draws the eye", & what is considered "familiar" to most? Apple should drop some random guy in the midst of these professionals & say: "hey, meet your new peer- we hope his ideas continue to be good... no guarantees, as he has ZERO experience and his only résumé is a random video he posted to the web. I'm sure he'll fit in here and you guys will respect his opinions, right?"

This looks pretty good. As much as I'd like to be able to change some of the control center options though, I think it might confuse some people (my sales users for example)

This ^^

When you start allowing the OS to be changed like this, the standard, swipe up, turn on/off wifi doesn't work as instruction if someone has removed it and replaced it with something else. What you have may not be what was initially released. Then you have the user who inadvertently moves/re-arranges things without know it.

Confusion for most users would be a problem. For users like us, it wouldn't be an issue.

I don't get how these concepts count as rumors. It doesn't look bad though. Probably too confusing for the average user however
