I want the person's job who gets to sleep every day for more than 10 hours and wake up after 9 AM.
Is this how all the Apple employees live while making 6 figures???

Because there aren't all kinds of jobs that start after 9 AM and people somehow aren't able to go to sleep by 10 PM?

Seriously. They tease us with Dark Mode in macOS and now AppleTV and leave iOS hanging. MAYBE they'll show it off with iPhone 7. Could be a feature that's not totally done yet considering it would be a substantial overhaul to make sure UI elements work with it.

This actually makes sense if you think about it. Your Mac and your TV are in relatively consistent lighting environments, so a static dark mode settings will often times look consistently acceptable. However, your phone must perform in the brightest and darkest environments and everything in between. Apple is going to want to improve that experience while also giving you reason to buy a new iPhone. My prediction is that they are likely to build sensor/display tech in the next iPhone to dynamically vary the display depending on your environment. Maybe the next evolution of the true tone technology introduced in the iPad pro?

another add-on - notifies car parking position moment ignition is off. Though I am not able to use navigation.. map is static and doesn't even move an inch. anyone facing the same issue?

11 hours of sleep is their example? Who, outside of high school, thinks that's normal?
It's an example to demonstrate something. Does that information somehow invalidate or take away from the demonstration?

Yes, I'd spend the next few slides wondering who the hell regularly gets 10.5 hours' sleep. And, furthermore, whether that much sleep on a regular basis - which is the purpose of this feature - is actually healthy!

How is the wake alarm different from a regular alarm? Will the "Stop" button be bigger, easier to see and press in the morning? Will having a Wake alarm turn my phone in a bedside clock when I plug it in?

I'd say what you wrote above is pompous & disingenuous.

I don't see here everyone prefacing his posts with "I think" or "I feel" or the like. So usually people do not preface an opinion with anything. People understand they're sharing their opinions here. To most people it seems to be obvious.

Hmmmmm.... well, how about: "No way  I was sure someone else's.(sic)"?
Is that a good example of pompous & disingenuous douchebaggery?? Or was that COMPLETELY genuine, & you really didn't understand your own post??

People don't see the apps and that's what mainly matters to them as far as the result of it all.

It makes it unlikely that they're going to update apps individually, though. If they're just hidden that that implies that individual updates are not possible.

While all that would be nice, I don't think that's why they did this (at least not so far).

Here's something I found earlier. It's pretty interesting.
(Just found out this was already found. Good to know!)

It was never in random order. It's in the same exact order (with only apps that support split) as the regular task screen where most recent is on the bottom.

What order would make more sense for you?
.

In simple words from MacStores:

Finding apps to put in Slide Over and Split View is a tedious process, and a layout with low information density and lacking a search box doesn't help in picking apps. Any kind of redesign would be welcome: a tighter presentation of app icons, the ability to search, and even a way to pin some apps as persistent favorites would do wonders.

So I am guessing Apple did not touch this in iOS 10?

Does this mean we can now get iPhone's calculator app, stock app, and any other iOS based app on iPads through the app store?

Doubt it. All indications point to the "delete" only hiding the icon and the getting from the app store just un-hides it.

You were expecting that for some reason?

Apple points out that deleting stock apps doesn't free up much space as they don't take up much space, meaning that's not the reason why they are providing it: http://support.apple.com/HT204221

Yes, Android N has it. Touchwiz had it for years. The iPhone 6S Plus has enough real estate to make it worthwhile.

That's fine and certainly something various people can hope for, but doesn't seem like there was anything to set it up as something that would be expected.
