iOS 11.0.1 Bug Fixes, Changes and Improvements

Very likely this update was ONLY to fix that Exchange bug. Would be very bad to have that one around considering how many companies are reliant on Exchange.

More than likely there is more in it as there were likely already other fixes that Apple was working on and would have ready in time for the release.

3d touch is still stuttering but home delay is fixed its back to being instant 🙂

reinstall, clean install, i dont have that problem. You get that on every folder you open?

Rebooted the phone and tried everything. The lag i is there on the 7 Plus. Not resolved in the slightest.

App animations are ever so slightly better on the 7 plus. Could be a placebo, but I think it’s an improvement.

This update? It seems like he simply said there's a plan to bring it back in the future, but no particular update timing was provided for that.

Thanks for letting us know! This was easily one of my biggest concerns about iOS 11 on my brand new iPhone 8 Plus. It is a total disaster right now. Glad to hear iOS 11.0.1 fixes at least that. 🙂 Gonna update now!

It's coming back in an update. It was not specified which update.

I just installed a few updates and they did download and install much faster than they have been on iOS 11 GM, so it looks like this problem may have been resolved!

I am seeing slow downloads on iOS 11 on iPhone 7. Didn’t see any thread on it so far and even google search yields nothing. I thought it’s not common.
