They can't turn on Facetime Group calls until the beta is updated also

I’m guessing those people use Group FaceTime. I wasn’t particularly excited about the dropped call and signal issues you were excited over because I didn’t have any problems with that. Swings and roundabouts.

Sure they can as Apple said 2.1.3 and below will not support Group FaceTime. So Apple can disable Group FaceTime on 12.2 beta, until beta 2 comes out. Could be the same day as 12.1.4 or later.

Maybe both, but they usually don’t release betas and public updates the same day.
