Thanks, got it. I thought maybe going to the beta would fix mail for me on my Pro Max, but it didn’t. Instead it just killed the battery life.

I’m resolved that iOS 13 will always be a disaster. Apple will now come out and say that iOS 14 will be for fixes instead of new features, just like they did with iOS 12.

You should also send in your feedback to Apple, the larger the number of people wanting this, the merrier. Also, for the moment, as many have also pointed out, ignoring is niftily implemented in the power button/ side button, you just need to press it once and it gets silenced while still hijacking the screen. I do hope iOS 14 heralds a new incoming call notification that is finally not ancient.

Likewise, I really do hope iOS 14 puts this issue to rest as well.

I guess the caption only shows the biggest „colors“ (data types). That’s why „media“ is labeled on my iPhone but „messages“ is not.

If that is the case, then why are you not provided with the legends for the colors Green and Orange? Since they are the same width as the Blue (mail).

Wow so this one broke it for you? My wife's has been doing the echo garbage since forever. Was hoping one of these updates would finally fix it.

Interesting. So maybe that is the true root of the problem, and the echo is just a side effect of having to crank up the volume to hear the other person?

11PM. It has been happening on my wife's for as long as I can remember, not since a recent iOS Update.

Seems just a coincidence with the updates. My wife's has been doing it since I can remember even before 13.3, and no updates have stopped it.

My 11 Pro Max has had no speaker phone issue. It’s now on the general release of 13.3 and still no such issue. All the complaints I’ve seen on various forums come from the 13.3.1 beta, have not seen any others on the general release. The beta 13.3.1 fixed almost all 13 bugs on my iPad Pro so I was considering installing it on my phone but not after reading all the speaker phone complaints.

I bought a Microsoft Surface Arc Mouse to use with my iPad Pro. The device will not stay recognized by the IPP. It still shows up in the Bluetooth device list but will not operate after a long period (multi-hour) period of non-use. I have to forget and re-pair the device.

Anyone else having this issue with this mouse (or any Bluetooth connected mouse or pointing device)?
 
13.3.1 beta 1 sure feels a shade smoother and more polished on iPhone 8 when opening, switching between apps and generally interacting with the phone for anything when compared to 13.3 release version.

I am facing occasional internet connectivity blackout, regardless of being on Wi-Fi or Cellular. A quick disconnect and reconnect via the control centre seems to fix things.

My Xfinity Mobile and my T-Mobile carrier versions are higher than the versions quoted in this threads original post.

Is that because nobody's updated the first post, or have we really stepped backwards a bit for some reason?

Xfinity Mobile: 40.0

T-Mobile: 40.0

[EDIT: Page 2 shows a lot of people noticing a step backwards. Can't help wondering about the specifics.]

Yes, carrier versions in this beta are a step backwards. This could be intentional as well as just that they were never updated in this branch or anything else. Don't read too much into it at the moment. 🙂

LOL. Im so glad I rolled back this beta. Such a joke they’ve left the speakerphone / microphone issue out there on that beta for so long.

I rolled back myself and unfortunately I couldn’t restore via iCloud or from the my MacBook. Ended up reinstalling all apps and data fresh. Strange thing I lost my custom ringtones and now iTunes won’t restore them either.
