I agree with adding text prediction and a better autocorrect–but I don't know what you mean about Spotlight. I can swipe down on any home screen to search. All great but we are still missing keyboard with prediction for our language. That comes before any other request or desire. And correctly working autocorrect as well. No rocket science but daily little things makes usability.
And I want to get spotlight search on one swipe away back from anywhere. Making it two step action ruined iOS ergonomic especially on Touch ID iPhones.
Wait, this had to be debunked? Not to rain on anyone’s parade but Mark Gurman on Twitter has already shut this down. Other than dark mode, he said this concept is not accurate.
Wait, this had to be debunked?
I went in to it very clearly thinking it was a mock-up by some graphic artist wanting a showpiece.
There’ll be immense whining, I’m sure, about how this implementation of Dark Mode is not fully black especially for the OLED displays. Apple’s likely won’t be, either, because it’s poor UX design with increased eye strain and leads to OLED smearing, which is just ugly.

Whining about what?

This is so true— I don’t care about any of these “awesome new updates” a fraction as much as I’d appreciate better handling of grammar and word prediction. Just try typing “i.e.” regularly without losing your mind. There are also so many words that Apple won’t suggest—not because they’re “bad”—but because they’re controversial or uncommon. I don’t pride myself on my vocabulary, but I’ve had to open my dictionary many times just to make sure the word that I thought was real and spelled correct, actually is. At least provide an option to turn on adult language, FFS.
Google is embedded in all kinds of Apple processes (like the “fraudulent website” detection), which is crappy, but if we’re giving all our data to Google anyway, why is the spelling correction 10-20 times better when you search for a word using Google? There’s no excuse for this.
I can simply only agree
And if you have two languages installed on your keyboard I don’t even need to go into this...it’s awful. The toggle between languages doesn’t fully turn off the other one—which could helpful if it didn’t wreck the experience in the language you’ve chosen...but it does. I have to uninstall the other language to restore full functionality to English typing.
People always find something to whine about when it comes to Apple. There’ll be immense whining, I’m sure, about how this implementation of Dark Mode is not fully black especially for the OLED displays. We had dark mode. It was iOS 6, 5, 4, iPhone OS 3, iPhone OS 2, iPhone OS 1...The best idea Apple can come with for IOS 13 is "the best ever" and "by popular demand", iDark mode. Wow. Really innovative. I guess this level of innovation clearly required to block the Chinese competition.
All the reviews about iOS 13 are going to focus on "dark mode", how many magazine and site covers this "step forward in iOS" is going to get. Really sad Apple considers this a major feature in Ios. And even worse, is that we believe them...

Looks really nice, but not getting my hopes up of getting all that. But if anybody has found those wallpapers he used, please let me know!
It might be good for a portfolio. You know, if you would like to get hired somewhere, you could show off and say "Look, I'm actually better than Apple".I always wonder why people spend so much time coming up with these concepts. Some of the ideas and concepts would be great ideas, but Apple will do their own thing and ignore these so it seems like a pointless exercise.
...Which I would want very much, as an artist as well as someone who has wanted a screen for a headless MacGuess if Apple doesn’t make iPad Pro more capable as a real computer replacement, we will at least be able to use it hooked up as display to a real computer LOL.
These are concepts of one person who is creating something to say, 'Hey, look at me I think I can do UI design, employ me!" So to put any idea of it could look like this, moan, shout hooray etc., is just pi$$!ing in the wind.
Just days ahead of WWDC 2019, freelance graphic designer Álvaro Pabesio has shared a new iOS 13 concept that envisions many features and changes rumored for the software update, including a long-awaited Dark Mode, a less obtrusive volume indicator, and the iPad serving as an extended display for the Mac.
Dark Mode can be toggled in Control Center and is applied systemwide for a darker appearance that is easier on the eyes. Several rumors suggest Dark Mode is coming to iOS 13, following in the footsteps of macOS Mojave.

The redesigned volume indicator concept is far less obtrusive than the current one, which has become the subject of memes. Apple's software engineering chief Craig Federighi recently suggested that a new volume indicator is finally on the horizon in an email to a customer and it looks like it is a lock for iOS 13.

The concept imagines several productivity improvements on the iPad, including a multi-tabbed Files app with a new sidebar and a rumored desktop extension feature that would enable the iPad to be used as a drawing tool for Mac apps.

Other redesigned apps include Reminders, Music, Mail, and Messages, many of which are in fact expected to receive makeovers in iOS 13.

Pabesio also envisions several other features that are not guaranteed for iOS 13, at least not exactly how he imagines them, including a redesigned Notification Center and Control Center, multi-user support on the iPad Pro with Face ID integration, and expandable folders in the iPad's dock.

Apple is widely expected to unveil iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 at its WWDC 2019 opening keynote on June 3 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. MacRumors will provide live coverage of Apple's annual developers conference.
Álvaro Pabesio's complete iOS 13 concept can be viewed on Behance.

Federico Viticci just published an iOS 13 wishlist from Steve Troughton-Smith. Why do people publish these things a week before WWDC? Why not publish 6-9 months ago? Especially if they’re trying to get Apple’s attention. And some of the stuff that’s on this wish list - Xcode for iOS, terminal for iOS, scripting, mouse support, virtual machines/emulators - aren’t trivial things. And are mostly for developers/power users. So what is the point of this article when in all likelihood most of these won’t be announced at the keynote?
