LOVE the block unknown callers!
[doublepost=1559759206][/doublepost]
Speak for yourself. I think Apple looked at the numbers, and saw that most users are allowing auto updates (I know I do). They have a new feature to market, a relatively unused icon... there you go!

One group in particular likely prefers manual updates - those who have apps installed from a variety of Apple ID accounts - all those unexpected popup password requests would certainly be a pain.

I'm disappointed it's going away. I'm one of those OCD people that reads every release note (even though most are "performance and stability improvements").

Isn't the Profile link on every page? In which case you just tap that anywhere and you can see the list of apps that need an update. It's exactly the same number of taps as it was when it was the updates list? In that case I don't have a problem with it. But I would love to be able to turn off tabs I will never use like Arcade. But then it's a store...

Just because some users allow apps to auto-update doesn't make it a good decision. I've had numerous app updates over the years break functionality, and have avoided those updates until they could be fixed by disabling auto-update. It will continue to remain off on my devices in iOS 13 (if I end up installing it).

Moreover, why waste that space for more of this Games junk. I already have a Games tab in the App Store that I've never once opened. Why do I need two?

Silence unknown callers. Yeeessss!

I want to know more about the feature before I get excited about it. Does it only silence calls that show up on the caller ID as 'Unknown'? If so, that feature has very little benefit to me. Probably only 1 to 2 percent of the junk calls I receive actually show up as 'Unknown' on the caller ID. The rest of the junk calls I receive have spoofed the caller ID so that the area code and exchange is the same as my number but the last four digits are different every time. THOSE are the calls I really want to silence.

iOS 13 may not have been the radical overhaul design-wise that some were hoping for but it brought a lot of great features and designs. Dark Mode, Quick Access, Photos, Maps, etc are all big improvements to the UX, never mind the many less visible improvements throughout the software.

i can't believe they are finally adding the wifi/btooth toggles, you were able to do this with jailbreak for the last decade or so....
You still can't toggle either wifi or bluetooth on and off - all you can do is select another network/device. You need to click "wifi settings" which then takes you into the settings app. A very long procedure.

3D/haptic/long press on the settings app is the quickest way I know of (on an unlocked phone).

I speak for most people.

LOVE all the tweaks to core apps, but still waiting for an option to choose into which address book to save a new contact. Or the ability to ignore requests for read receipts when mail is opened.

no, that's what i was talking about - ability to switch networks/devices without going into settings. i really wish they weren't getting rid of 3d touch...

Can anybody confirm -- if you want to send a picture to somebody, it looks like there are now recent contacts as quick buttons. Can you send the photo to multiple people at once on that screen?

For a moment I thought they improved the ability to search through conversation in the iMessage's app. It's really, really bad.

The rest looks nice.
