iOS 14.5 Features: Everything New in iOS 14.5

I'm definitely disappointed in the Maps update after all of the hype I read about how this will be a Waze killer. From what I'm seeing, Waze still has more features including showing your travel speed and the ability to provide live GPS even if you don't enter a destination address. To use the new features & live GPS in Maps, you have to enter a destination address. I typically use Waze without entering destinations (I know where I'm going) on a daily basis just to let me know if there are any speed traps, road hazards, or any other types of delays coming up. Sadly, Maps has a long way to go to displace Waze as the leader at this point.
 
I ended up rolling back to 14.4.2 to fix my podcast problems. It would have taken forever to fix 1000+ episodes that showed back up so easier to rollback.

One thing I’ve found with the music app and the new option in library is that I cannot get “made for you” to show up. This is even after choosing “edit” and selecting the check box for it. When I click “done” the option just disappears. Odd.

I’m glad it’s not just me. I am having the same issue
 
I really like the Unlock with the Apple Watch, but I really wish they would have taken it a step further and just used Apple Watch unlock to sign in. Just think wanting to check your stocks but you had a facemask on. Signing into things like Fidelity would have been so much convenient if they just called it sign in with the watch instead of unlock with the watch.
 
Face ID unlock with mask requires wifi which is dumb if I have good cell service and never use wifi especially when I’m out of the house. I hope they can at least change it to where we can choose to use wifi or cell to unlock because for me that feature has become useless lol no biggie. I’m used to putting my passcode in
 
What happened to the option that allows one to share a song via apple music via iMessenger? I cant figure how to do this anymore.

I used to be able to remove songs from playlists by swiping and deleting (which didn’t remove them from the library), but now swiping and deleting removes them from the library. To edit a playlist, I have to tap the three dots at the top-right of the playlist window and then edit.

I use Apple’s weekly playlists to discover new music. I skip over the tracks that are already in my library. Now I can’t see at a glance which tracks those are. I wish some of these changes could be reverted using settings.
 
T-MOBILE 5G STANDALONE UPDATE: I do not know how accurate this is but the representative from T-Mobile stated this: "As I dig deeper, if you have 5g sim card, 5g phone and 5g tower in your area, that option will not be available since it's totally automatically activated. That option will only be shown if it's needed to be activated. On your case, it was automatic :) If you need more clarifications, kindly ask all your question in mind." - CAN ANYONE CONFIRM?
 
I updated this morning. I wish I had waited. NOTHING WORKS. My AppleWatch 3 unpaired and won't pair back because it says in needs to update but says the update is too big. so my Watch is a brick at the moment. My air pods won't pair. AppleCar play worked this morning but while I was on a call, kept switching from car to phone then back to car then back to phone. MAYJOR ISSUES FOR ME.
 
NEVER UPDATE YOUR IOS PREMATURELY! WAIT FOR REVISIONS TO WORK OUT THE BUGS! (sorry for the caps). cruising along with 14.4.
 
I really liked the unlock with Apple Watch. I just wish they had taken it a step further and allowed you to sign into various apps using the same feature.
