Hi guys, I have updated to iOS 14.6 as soon as it was available, tried to reset the phone and recover from backup and still have problem with idle/overnight battery drain. With Airplane and Low Power Mode the phone drains a little bit less but it is still about 15%. I usually try to charge the phone between 40-80%, maybe leaving it on charger for some time may help? I did calibrate the battery two weeks ago.

Where could be the problem? Should I try to reset the phone one more time? Thanks.

I would quit out of every app at night. Turn airplane mode on and then see if your still draining.

It shouldn’t as there are no process on or apps that could over run and drain power.

unless it’s your Apple Watch sucking power. Then you need to unpair and pair again. Or anything paired actually might need repairing.

Battery is draining much faster after installing 14.6 on my XS Max.

Twice this week I've found it dead on my desk in the morning. This had never happened before this week. No changes to my use cases, I routinely kill all apps after use and shut off bluetooth after using it iin the car or with cans. No apps using cellular other than phone and Find My... It's definitely an actual problem with 14.6

I am at 58% since 9am. Almost 3 hours since full charge. This is the worst update ever. Never had any problems like this. Didnt even use my phone.

I have the same issue and it drops 10-20% during th night despite no activity going on.

Oh, I just posted that in another 14.6 thread. I love my XR, because it's the first "oh, you think I should charge it? but it's only been… oh right, three days" phone I have since Nokia 3210. Now it drops from 90% to 64% overnight.
