This app claims it can tell you if there are traces of Pegasus on your iPhone.

The iPad iOS 14.7.1 patch installed on my 2021 iPad 11 Pro M11 2TB with no issues. However, my iPad mini v5 does not “see” that patch as a download. I wonder if the A12 processor or the low amount of memory (it has the max memory available at the time of manufacture) take it out of the vulnerability arena?

I agree that the Mac OS Big Sur update as well as the “.1” update seems to take a very long time to install on my Intel based 2013 MacPro, 2019 16” MacBook Pro and 2019 Mac Mini computers.

Weirdly these updates don't show on my beta test Macs, even though not updated to Monterey. UPDATE. Only showed up after I removed beta profiles on Macs and iPhone

Windows 7 was only supported from 2009 to 2013.
Windows 7 SP1 was only support from 2011 to 2020.

Windows 10 requires multiple version updates to stay supported. You cannot be on these mainstream builds and still get patched anymore: 1909, 1903, 1809, 1803, 1709, 1703, 1607, 1511 and 1507. LTSB/C isn't much of an option either. It wasn't until a few years ago that they'd even let you run Office on those systems.
Service packs are not different from all the supplemental updates within a macOS version. Even if treated separately, that's still 4 and 9 years. macOS is only 3 years
