One that happens frequently.
  • Go into Photos and select one or more pictures.
  • Select the Action button and share either via Messages or Mail.
  • Start typing in the email address or phone number to share.
  • At some point during this process (in Messages mine is usually when I select the person from the popup list in messages as I type the phone number) the keyboard will vanish.
This does not happen all the time however it happens frequently.

There are a number of other way however this is the most frequent fail for me. I also sometimes have the screen freeze mid-type.
yup, that did it for me. will report.

I set up a new reminder yesterday with four sub-tasks and set it to repeat daily. After completing the four sub-tasks yesterday it still required that I complete the main task, which seems redundant. Today, the main task is there but there are no sub-tasks unless I tap it, enter the menu with the info button to the right, un-complete the tasks and then tap the arrow to the right to expand.

I've never had something like this set up in Reminders so I don't know if this behavior is new or even a bug but it seems like it could be refined. I will submit it as a suggestion for now.

Is anyone having an issue where every update causes an “attempting data recovery” issue? Also, ever since installing the first Beta for 14, I have had a notification on my settings icon. I finally figured out what that is. The software has flagged over 350 passwords a potential security breach and wants me to change them all. I’m not doing that! Has anyone else had that issue? Is there a work around that can be done to clear the notification?
Seems to be a characteristic of updating the new SE. Haven’t heard this happening on another device, (the retrieving data thing), has happened to me on my SE on each beta. The password change issue I don’t get but the badge on the settings I do get and need to log out of iCloud and back in again to clear it. Pretty weird but updating on the new SE is more of a process than any other iPhone for sure.

Anyone notice that if you set an alarm (and don't setup the Sleep function in the Health app), there is no longer a symbol at the top of the screens like there used to be?

I still have the symbol on my SE and I don’t use the sleep function in the health app.

iPhone XR this was an issue in B3 also. When I go to open a text msg it’s just a blank white screen it happens 2-3 times even after a force close of the app.

Seeing if I. can upload a video of the Vanishing - Reappearing - Vanishing Keyboard!!!!!
It vanishes. It comes back. It vanishes again.

Not getting sound notifications when I'm on a call. SUPER irritating because I have no idea that I missed texts or emails until after I'm done or if I constantly check it.

Anyone else?

For me it's when I am doing something on my phone.
I am not getting sounds (rings or tones) on occasion and have not been able to identify a pattern or cause. Doesn't always happen.

One last item for today, I am noticing that RAM management is whacked.
I am getting way too many previously opened apps that are 100% reloading when I open them back up. Far more than I did with B3.

So far I have noticed this with relaunch of apps.
Tabs look okay.

Update: Pro Max.

I get it the other way too. I will get back to back notifications for the same thing.

Okay weird observation I made tonight. Tried to let a customer use my hotspot but it wouldn’t show up for her, a coworker still on iOS 13 turned hers on and both customer and I could see it. She couldn’t see min though. Would me being on a beta have anything to do with that or is there something else in iOS 14 I need to turn on to make it work.

No it shouldn’t make any difference, unless the hotspot is broke - worth filing a bug report

It's not even spotty. They flat out don't work at all if I'm on a call. It's as if there's some sort of "Do Not Disturb" option that's on when you're on a phone call.

Personally, when I’m in a call, that’s how I’d want it (apart from alarm or timer, I’d want to hear those for obvious reasons). There’s nothing I find more off putting than hearing notifications constantly coming through (i.e from a group chat) which breaks my train of thought / makes it difficult to concentrate and/or hear the other person.

It should be written in capital case on the first post. After the first switch from one conversation to another the keyboard disappears, never to reappear unless force closing the app.

Even more than that. Also while trying to create a 1Password entry while switching to the second field, which made it not possible anymore. Definitely I wouldn’t have upgraded knowing such a huge bug. Some apps need to be force closed fir every use. Others simply won’t work because of this.
