I can't wait anymore for this night. This beta4 on pro max 512 is totally unusable, I lost some videos of my child due this bad release.
The beta1 was the best, all the other ones are killing battery, applications closes, crashes, a disaster.
Returning to iOS 13 now.

Why, why, why would you entrust something as precious as memories of your child to beta software?

i am also now having the issue that I cannot hear anyone if I try to start a call with my AirPods on

Workaround: Start call on phone (ear) speaker and switch as soon as the connection is made. Works every time for me.

Same here (no heat) and battery does seem to drain quicker.

2 days ago I had what I suspect was some rogue process drain my battery in about 4 hours. Could not determine what it was. Hard reset fixed the issue, however

I actually think I may have found the issue on my iPad. The issue I was having was that I could start the night with it charged to 100% and then wake up in the morning, and it would be in the 30% range. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary when checking battery statistics and what apps were working in the background, but just as a test, I deleted Google Maps. The only significance to Google Maps is that in terms of app size...it was one of the larger ones I had. It was yesterday that I deleted it. I went to bed last night, once again with a 100% charge. Woke up this morning...at 98%.

The weird thing about it though was that Google Maps did NOT stick out like a sore thumb in my battery statistics, so...well...I don't know what the heck happened 😂 It also doesn't explain the drain on my phone, since I don't have Google Maps on there. But again, the drain on my phone isn't to the extreme that my iPad was experiencing.

And i got google maps on both my iPad Pro and iPhone 11 Pro without this issue. Just install it again.

That’s the thing with betas. None of the 3rd party apps are built to run on beta software accurately. They’re only allowed to build apps against the iOS 13 SDK, and are unable to submit apps built on the iOS 14 SDK. One person’s experience might be one way while someone else another. On the same hardware even! Everything needs to be factored in if you want a fair comparison. What other Google apps do you have installed? Was it a one off process causing that issue, or a combination of processes running in the background from a specific combination of apps? That’s the beta life.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Noticed an issue with Siri today via CarPlay. When Siri speaks, all I get is a buzzing. Works fine on the phone itself, but via CarPlay, is just buzzes - tried it on two cars. Reported.

Haven't had this issue, but have had the issue where no audio comes through and I have to either restart the phone/car, or keep unplugging/plugging it in to get it to work.

Hi Guys,

Is there anyone who faced True Depth Sensor software issue? I'm sure there's no hardware error. Because of that, I cannot use Face ID and portrait camera mode.

Face ID setting says that move your iPhone a little lower/higher.

Device: iPhone X / iOS Public Beta 3 & 4

It's been fixed with iOS 14 Public Beta 5!!

Hi I have an iPhone XS Max and after I updated to iOS 14 my back facing(main)camera lost its portrait mode functionality! It keeps giving me the .....within 8feet” without yellow focus box appearing so depth effects aren’t being activated. In the front facing(Selfie)camera the camera is working with full functionality (ie .. portrait mode works as expected)
