Thanks @arn for posting this and creating an iOS 14 subforum ahead of 3pm on WWDC Keynote day! This will be a great place to speculate on iOS 14 in the month til the Keynote and will keep the iOS 13 subform a lot cleaner!

What i am wondering is, if you mark a message as unread, will it be seen as “Sent” and not “Seen” to the message-sender?

That sounds interesting!

I kinda wish there was also a support to change the names on your group chat

Do you mean enabling 'Subject' within iMessage settings (which is there for single iMessage chats), or something else?

Needs scheduling messages

Great idea. I'd also like the ability to compose a message offline to someone, have a 'clock' indicator noting a pending to send, and then the message to send later when in cellular / Wi-Fi connectivity is gained. Many times while travelling in a subway I type a message say to a team that I'm on route home/stuck in subway delay between stops. Although I'm currently on the only carrier that has subway cellular connectivity, many of my friends or colleagues are not on this carrier here in Toronto. I'm sure many cities globally would have iOS users in the same situation and would love this.

I just wish they’d make the Messages app a platform which could be used for various services (like channels in Apple TV). Or at least make it cross platform. Making iMessage better is welcome, but I still have to use other, crappier apps to talk to people with bad taste in operating systems.
