Notice that the presenters kept saying “this year”. I think that the gradual rollout of features will become the norm rather than a monolithic release of all new announced features in one update as had been done in the past.

Doh. Thank you. Was hoping it would play. I often drive places with the maps on but like to listen to YouTube videos. Without subscribing. Thank you for testing
You'll have to subscribe to YouTube Red (or whatever they're calling it these days) in order to get PiP and backgrounding from the app, just like it works on iPad.

It'll play from Safari just fine as it's built in to the Safari media player.

This seems big and hidden. You can even use Shortcuts with it. I just set mine to double for control center, and triple for notifications.

RIP all batteries (include you XR).

Side note, and maybe I'm unknowingly using my phone more than ever, but my XS battery seems to not survive as long is it used to.

Interesting, is it using the motion/gyroscope chips? Surely there's no sensor that was there needlessly and undiscovered.

And let me guess... still no password/PIN/FaceID for accessing the Photos specifically? All this focus on our privacy and yet this glaring omission.

There is a totally brand new UI if you turn on Filter Unknown Senders in Messages settings!

It seems to filter SMS as well (used to only filter iMessages), wohooooo! I've been waiting for that.
