Please please for the love of god, let us turn of the damn split view already. It SUCKS for smaller ipads and is constantly being activated and confusing users.

If you agree, PLEASE file a request for the split view toggle to be returned to iOS 15 settings (as we had it for years before):
I accidentally activate it all the time on the 12.9 Pro

You know what else is new with iOS 15? Every minor update turns on my Bluetooth. That’s really annoying since I don’t use Bluetooth and like to keep it toggled off all the time. Now, every time I update, I have to go an turn Bluetooth off after the update installs. Previous version of iOS only did this for major updates, not the minor ones.
2004 called, just leave it on

I'm pretty sure this isn't how App Privacy Report is supposed to look.

Anyone else having this issue?

I turned this option on and then quickly back off after I saw this ****.

WTF, Apple?

So, does 15.2 fix the "iPhone storage almost full" bug?

Also, I'm still being offered 15.1.1, not 15.2, even after a restart (I'm still on 14.8.1).

Edit: After checking for an update again, I was offered 15.2. Still wondering about the storage bug - I haven't seen it addressed in the lists of bug fixes in versions after 15.0.

When are we going to see extended screen mode at higher resolutions on external display in iPad Pro?

Does this fix the weird beats studio buds control center transparency mode bug?
Sort of? I keep mine on noise cancellation. In the control Center I switched to Transparency and the slider went back to noise cancellation but the ear buds stayed on transparency, according to the blue tooth settings.

Cant see this either. Was this removed at the last minute?
"Items that can track me" is missing for me too. Really wish MacRumors would actually fact check their articles instead of just blindly publishing pre-written boiler plate stuff. Is the rush to be first really worth being inaccurate, and thus losing reputation among readers?

Bricked my iPad Pro (10.5-inch), had to wipe it and reload, which I am still doing as it holds (held) 256GB of dats. So happy having to reload it piecemeal at chunks at a time. So that's something new, probably not mentioned in your article.

I’m almost certain the explanation of how the “Limit IP Address Tracking” feature works in this article is at least partially wrong as I don’t have private relay enabled, yet “Limit IP Address Tracking” was enabled on my iPad and iPhone after upgrading to iOS 15.2.

if iCloud relay is off, the description of how the feature works, doesn’t include the second sentence about private relay at all. It just says it hides the ip address from known trackers.

As such I believe the setting does two things:
  1. If private relay is off, it toggles relay solely for known tracking sites on the connection.

  2. if private relay is on, it toggles private relay on the connection.
Yeah, I'm confused by this too and need clarification. "Limit IP address Tracking" is on for me under both my cellular and WiFi connections, with similar toggles in the Safari and Mail settings. But I have it off in the iCloud settings on all my devices because it's listed as being in beta still.

What's the difference? I agree with what you believe the settings do.

I do not have that “Items that can track me” button in Find My on my iPhone or iPad with 15.2.

Is it something that pops up only when there is an item that can track me?

I don’t agree with this feature but if others are going to use it, then I also want to.
I don't have it either. If it only pops up when there's an item that can track us, how is it different from the typical "unidentified AirTag near you" alert that pops up?

Why would I just by chance happen to be using the FindMy app in order to see the button? ?

The good idea fairy struck again. Lol. Notification maybe? My wife’s phone doesn’t have it and neither does my iPad Pro. ?

Does anyone have it? Was it prematurely reported during the RC then removed for the final release?

Please tell me that the image under the "Notification Summary" heading is an official Apple promo image; that's some world class Zuck trolling.

Apple once again giving us features no one asked for. I have this $1300 phone with a TB of space and can't view my entire call log? I cannot cast to any TV or device as i so choose? WHY THE HELL does Icloud not allow you to fully manage what you back up?

I didn’t pay it any mind until you mentioned it but those images are meticulously picked. That’s funny ?

App Privacy report is pretty darn detailed.
Why does my Wawa app have to connect to Facebook by the way. (I don't even have that junk app on my phone) ?

Looks like the security patches are not going to be for anyone staying in 14.8.1.
My 14.8.1 device is no longer offering iOS 15 as an available option (those of you on 14.8.1 know what I am talking about), but a big ugly red notification dot on the settings app now.
