Orchestral/“classical” music is deeply under served on Apple Music. While I don’t like the idea of a second subscription I very much do like the idea of a more capable interface specifically for this vast swath of music which has its own unique needs in terms of searching, classifying and recommending than so-called popular music.
I’m sure I’ll end up paying whatever add on fee they soak people for. About half of my music diet is “classical” and I remember why the Apple Music interface for it sucks so badly every time.
You’re getting it backwards. Applying security fixes should be a priority. It’s the shiny features that can waitYawnsville update. Other than security updates nothing else effects my day to day. No rush on updating to this one.
I'm fairly certain Apple isn't making a dedicated app for classical music just to separate the genre from the rest of the Apple Music catalogue. They're going to try to give it the "beats radio treatment" (term I just made up in my head) like they did for popular music on Apple Music:I am currently listening to classical music using the Music App (either selecting a Radio, listening to music I own, or using a playlist). Why would I need a specific application ?
To see it, you need to have your HomePod/HomePods ungrouped (if they’re in a stereo pair). Then tap and hold a HomePod in the home app, tap settings, scroll to the bottom where the serial numbers and software version are and tap the Wifi address bar. Now you can see the Wifi bars. The HomePod Wi-Fi indicator doesn't appear for me after updating.
Am I the only one a little freaked out that Apple will determine what is sensitive for your memories? Sure, it’s Holocaust memorials, but what if you had a special trip there with your Jewish grandfather and want to randomly relive that memory?
im just saying, how can apple determine what is sensitive and where will this listing end?
In iPadOS 15.5, Universal Control is no longer in beta. That means the feature is fully, officially launched, and that the bugs have been worked out.
My 2 HomePods are not grouped, both are on 15.5, yet I still don't see the signal strength where it should be. Odd.To see it, you need to have your HomePod/HomePods ungrouped (if they’re in a stereo pair). Hope that helps!

Same. None of my HomePods show signal strength even though they are all on 15.5. All iOS devices are updated as well.My 2 HomePods are not grouped, both are on 15.5, yet I still don't see the signal strength where it should be. Odd.

Took me a bit to figure it out also but I discovered it's kind of hidden. You have to tap on the "Wi-Fi Address" which shows your device MAC address to toggle between the MAC address and the network name/signal strength.I'm having the same issue. I don't see the indicator either.

That is a new-to-me expression, and it's awesome--and much more acceptable than the similar one I know involving a certain high-ranking religious leader's gonads.Well that’s about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Thank you. That is not very obvious at all.Took me a bit to figure it out also but I discovered it's kind of hidden.
