Does anyone know how far out Apple usually sends out the betas for something like IOS 16? Is it thd day they anmounce it or way before that?
Typically iOS is released for developer testing the day of announcement/first day of WWDC.

So you got nothing. That's a bummer, but thanks anyway. ?

the comment you originated with said "give me a reason and dont come at me with DJs or something"

you took a use case, and rejected it because you felt like it.

you're a troll.

I think there's another reason...
There are plenty of so-called "Apple Music to MP3-Download Apps" out there.
These apps basically record the system audio stream, convert the song into mp3 and tag them correctly.
For e.g., if you download a song that is 3 minutes long, the wait will be at least 3 minutes to complete the process.
So these apps are using the "playback speed api" to speed up the process of downloading a playlist or an album.

Apps like Amazing Slow Downer are valuable tools for musicians to make learning songs by ear easier. The tempo changes but the pitch stays the same. 15.4 wiped out the ability to use Apple Music library and only works with purchased songs. It will be a welcome feature when restored.

This would be lovely but unfortunately there is no access to raw audio data from Apple Music content for mixing, looping or effects. I‘m not aware of a single DJ app that allows you to use it, the same goes for visualization apps.

This is the real problem, please Apple give us developers the same access to Apple Music content as we have with mp3 files directly imported to the device.
With an iTunes Match subscription there's access to raw audio once the file is downloaded to the device at least for the files you have uploaded/purchased. I've played a bit with some dj applications successfully this way.
It's a pity though that there's no API to start a download from the user library programatically. But you can download a whole playlist directly which is nice.
