I hope it gives latitude and longitude (as well as a location on a map) so I can plug them into hiking app.

It's a lot of the 'small things' that are important to people. Google used to show lat/lon on their web maps. I don't know if you can get it to divulge that info still, but last I looked, it wasn't shown. Oh, now they use 'Plus Codes'. Interesting...

this is something that always made me wonder when apple would bring this to the iPhone. always found it very useful in the photos app in macOS.
This is really useful for me. I label most of my photos and screenshots on Mac so that I can easily search in the future. I don’t always fire up my Mac, and often have weeks of photos to name.

To answer some questions (iOS 15 b1):

1) No, the EXIF data is not editable
2) No, what you see in the screenshots in the first post is all you get
3) Yes, you can add/edit/delete a location.
4) No, you can't add/edit/view a photo's title
5) IPTC data (object name, description, keywords) is not exported when saving a jpeg, even on MacOS

Other users in this thread have mentioned Metapho, would you suggest the same for removing all EXIF data? Its always been an underlying concern but with iOS15 having some features my interest in the practice has been renewed.

There's also a new option to tap the "Live" button for any Live photo to automatically turn it a Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure.
Is there a button to make a Live Photo a regular photo? If not, then there should be.

Loving that photos is getting these exif type features!

I have no need to remove EXIF data from my photos so haven't tried.

I use "exiftool" on MacOS to manipulate metadata when I feel the need; that can strip everything. Hashphotos was an iOS app I used to use before iOS14 allowed us to at least add a caption to photos.

You'd think they will increase the numbers on the photos high than 9999 without starting over again? Nah
