Yes you can. Tap on the screen to bring up the copy/paste menu. Tap the right arrow and an option to insert video or image is there. And yet after 15 releases, we still can’t add photos in Mail as attachments.

I know people think that a long press on space bar is fine, but having had 3D Touch, I, like you, really miss just a firm press ANYWHERE to start moving...Glad the magnifier is back. The 3d touch keyboard was manageable but the haptic touch keyboard just sucks to move the cursor.

And Text EditI wish the iPad came with Terminal. Then I can do file management like a pro compared to what Files does for me.
Well I’m just glad apple appears to be listening to feedbackLet’s remove some features and call it a new iOS release. Let’s add those features back with some tweaks and call it another iOS release.
It takes a while to break the muscle memory, but it’s more intuitive for it to be at the bottom of the screen where your thumb can comfortably reach itWhat I want to know is what jacka$$ decided it was a good idea to move the address/search bar in safari to the bottom of the page like no other internet browser on the planet? Why are we reinventing the internet here? Give me a way to password protect messages in iMessage, don’t mess up the apps that have worked fine just for the sake of change!!
How does that work? Side by side apps?
Also quick Google search shows some split screen functionality, even in iOS 14. Been living under a rock looks like, an iPhone X rock.
I think Haptic Touch only sucks if you have a non-FaceID device since the space bar is at the bottom of the screen. So in order to go down any further you have to tap and hold the space bar, swipe up, and then swipe down. On a FaceID device there is plenty of room to go down from the space bar since the emoji and dictation buttons are below it and there is a massive space of nothing in between.Glad the magnifier is back. You're definitely right about that. Took away the text magnifier/dial picker, and now they're back again as "new features" haha. That was always possible, Apple just took it away in iOS 14. Nonetheless, you can do it in iOS 14 as well with a little trick (attaching another file with the photos).
That is a new thing that Apple started doing a few years ago. They take away functionality and then ad it back in at some point – this goes for hardware and software design. That's what happens when you have no actual new ideas, you just keep fiddling with the old ones you had.
Yes, but they show up as embedded images, not attachments. It would just be nice to have a separate input for actual attachments. Similar to the functionality in Gmail.Yes you can. That’s true, I just think it’s a tad unnecessary, intuitive or not I think most iOS users are creatures of habit and the fix for a few is more of an annoyance to most… I’ve been using it a few days and it’s driving me insane lol.It takes a while to break the muscle memory, but it’s more intuitive for it to be at the bottom of the screen where your thumb can comfortably reach it
I love that change. It makes it possible to do a search without having to tap on the top of the screen just to move your fingers back to the bottom to type the address. That’s a small win for usability. What I want to know is what jacka$$ decided it was a good idea to move the address/search bar in safari to the bottom of the page like no other internet browser on the planet? This is true. I think people don’t realise the difference between an in-line and attachment option. And yet after 15 releases, we still can’t add photos in Mail as attachments.
Give them feedback. Beta 1I find the new Magnifier to be very confusing when it is being used in a multi line text box. The magnifier appears over other text, but there isn’t enough visual separation between the contents of the modifier and the text that is above where you are selecting, so it’s not always clear to me what’s happening. They need to give the magnifier more of a visual distinctiveness from the surrounding text, IMO.
Can you also delete said app after a search? Finally! so frustrating when I searched for an app but couldn’t drag it to Home Screen.
