My favorite on this list is text size per app. Now, away from home without readers, I can make the street names in maps readable. It’s driven me nuts over the years that when you zoom maps, the text stays the same small size all the way to full zoom. Now, I can see the street names. Woot woot.
OMG, this! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Not sure if it’s been reported yet but you can also drag and drop content like photo’s between apps now!
I believe Drag and Drop is now system-wide in iOS 14, as opposed to being limited to iPadOS before.

On iPadOS 15, is it possible to initiate multitasking from spotlight search (without a keyboard attached)?

Does anyone know if you can have two instances of the photos app open in split view?
(I.e. For comparing two photos side by side)

Thanks!
Still doesn’t look like it’s possible to open search without a keyboard, but you can open it with a swipe down on the Lock Screen now.

Doesn’t look like Photos supports Split View with itself.

How does it work in iPadOS 15 if you have multiple apps open?
It appears to break with no explanation!

I’ve said many times that Apple stopped caring for good, intuitive design in recent years.

Literally reverting back to iOS 13/14 features is a perfect example of this. You shouldn’t be adding things back, that’s not normal. I’m happy these features are being returned, but why were they removed in the first place and who approved it? Why did they settle for bad design?

I missed the old text magnifier so much, removing it was a stupid step backwards for no discernible benefit. Bringing it back partially is better than nothing, but why not do it right? Pride?

'Custom Text Size Per App' I am looking forward to this. Well, my older eyes are  I don't need this feature across the entire device and all its apps, so ya, awesome :)

The section that feature is listed under on the website (the one linked in the article) says it requires the A12 chip or later so it probably doesn't work on the X which only has A11.
Thank you for warning me in advance.

Yes you can. Tap on the screen to bring up the copy/paste menu. Tap the right arrow and an option to insert video or image is there.
That is NOT, I repeat NOT adding as an “attachment” it’s still imbedding the content in side the body of the email.

sometimes people need to add an attachment not clutter up the body of text in an email. Sometimes you want people to READ before looking at the pop up pictures ;)

I think at least some of this is how different email readers display messages. One email reader will display it as an attachment, another will display it in line. I know when we send documents, adding it as an attachment, it displays inline. (Pics do this too). That same email will show as an attachment on my phone. If I send a bunch of photos from my phone to our office computer, they show as attachments on the office computer.

great additions to iOS15. looking forward in particular to the return of the text picker. on the iPhone mini, this will help

A post count of 10. Every single one critical of apple or its customers. Are they on the payroll of an apple competitor? Or a sad person who had nothing better to do then visit sites of companies he can’t stand?

I'm gonna miss the wheel picker from iOS 14. That was one of my favorite changes, albeit very minor, but the older wheels are reminiscent of the rolodex era, made sense with the skeuomorphic language iOS had in that time. Now it takes up too much space and is a worse experience with additional columns, such as month or AM/PM.

Just to be clear, I know we can now drag an app from spotlight to any Home Screen, but I’m wondering specifically can you delete an app permanently from the spotlight results search interface. Have you tested this specifically? Thx

Yes. I mentioned because I knew (from experience) that now we can.

1. There is a Delete option when long-holding the automatic suggestions
2. There is a Delete option when long-holding the search listings.

I wish we cared this much on Mac lol...

I guess there is a reason why we want this stuff more on iOS... Maybie its because we stare at one everyday most often
