They caught up with the iPadOS 16.1 in the build numbers. Both same.

Stage manager hasn’t really changed. I was able to get it to crash almost instantly again. And going to software update causes an error now. I do see Matter Accessories in the settings

Me! I’ll make sure da 14 Pro and my current 13 mini are both on whichever beta is most recent before wiping/restoring backup. New phone won’t get here ‘til mid-October, sadly

Sure. I’d install the little update you get to get the phone up to the current publicly released version. Then install the beta profile and install the beta.
