My guess is that you are Apple Music users. Airplay is not working for me on Tidal, Amazon or Spotify. Selecting an airplay device causes each app to trip out. I have just put one of my iPads back to 16.1 where it works fine.

Same issue for me

I'm having some crazy Wi-Fi issues on this build, battery is phenomenal. Wi-Fi issues only with my iPhone and I've tried Reset Network Settings but still having an issue.

Wi-Fi will be connected, then suddenly things won't load (like there's a content filter or something)? It's been super strange, and this is the only device that I have affected- so I'll chalk it up to the Public Beta. Hopefully there's a fix next week. :)

Private relay on?

Nope. It may coincide with the latest Asus ZenWifi firmware update on 10/31. I've reverted the router back to the previous firmware, going to see if that fixes it. I wasn't having issues until after that date(ish).

Soneones iPhone getting hot or warm? 😵‍💫
Yes, I’ve never noticed it before this beta, I live in the uk , and as such, to turn the heating on I will need to rob the British museum and sell all the artifacts back to their rightful countries to afford to heat my house.

Apple have been very helpful in this, they’ve turned my 13 pro max into a mini nuclear reactor, so I no longer need heating.

Huge bug related to Notes that happened this morning.

I was at work (Windows environment) and needed to create a note to write down some private stuff quickly. Instead of picking my phone, I chose to open iCloud.com to create the note on my computer, but went to try the beta version (beta.icloud.com).
After writing what I had to write, I closed the window and opened my phone to check if the sync happened properly.
Then the Notes app crashed, I got the feedback prompt to notify Apple, which I did. But since then every single time I open Notes it immediately crashes (and doesn't even appear on the multitask view).
I can see the spinning wheel icon next to the iCloud line active for half a second before the crash.
Some things I tried to do:
- Delete the note created on the beta iCloud website
- Reboot and force reboot the iPhone
- Uncheck and delete the Notes sync on my iCloud Settings and turn on again

Nothing worked.

iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 16.2 beta 1

Anyone in the same boat?

Downgraded to iOS 16.1 until Beta 2… Caseless it is way to hot….

One thing I am grateful for is that this new beta seems to have fixed the INSANE keyboard lag of 16.1 official and all of the betas. It was driving me absolutely nuts and now it’s back to super quick and able to keep up and not lag between letters. I’m almost afraid to update off of this beta because I worry it’s just a fluke.
